Sheesh! We had guys like that take pictures of us during Clinton protests and nobody got bent out of shape.

I'll bet they would have preferred to be at home with their families rather than photographing a bunch of kooks on a Sunday afternoon.

Of course, there must have been government agents photographing the loons but the DUmmies would never have known because the agents were smart enough to look exactly like leftist loons. This means they didn't bathe nor wash their clothes for a couple of weeks.

I've noticed that the apparently-homeless guys outside a building with government offices close to mine are in much better physical condition than one would expect, with good-quality running shoes. They don't seem to do any actual begging either.

Let me get this straight. Most of this thread is made up of posters upset because some guy they didn't even have the guts to just go strike up a conversation with and maybe FIND OUT WHO HE WAS is taking pictures "supposedly" because he is a spy gathering intelligence, yet here is a poster who WANTS to gather intelligence for future use.

I no longer fear this group. Just listen to the "men" posting on this thread. "I yelled at him and thought about knocking the camera out of his hand, but he would have squashed me like a bug, so I yelled at him some more....." Wuss. Yep. I had a similar experience PJ.

We spent thousands on attorney fees and then her records were burned in a fire at an INS storage location in Newark, NJ. Had to start all over again.

Later at Newark again, we came prepared with the wedding album and lots of other photos but the agent didn't even bother.

She became a citizen a few years later and we had a big red, white and blue party for her.

When you go through the legal immigration process it makes the possibility of amnesty all the more outrageous.

Let me see. They could off been off duty Policemen or military. The again "so what" they have every right to be there as citizens. Anyway with wall to wall coverage on C-Span the DIA didn't need to be there. Unless, they were the C-Span camara operators. That Cameraman from CBS looked supicious also. Who really knows what Hanoi Jane did in Vietnam. Maybe she was debriefed afterwards. She could of been there to drop a dime on the pinkos by outing them. How about the punks that sray-painted the Capital Steps. Why weren't they stopped, might be undercover NSA guys. Think about it dummies. How do you know the guy passing around the joint wasn't DEA?

For example, if I were to map that appearance to the Army, I'd think it was consistent with cadre at some training school, not with some assignment where civvies are worn and he wasn't trying to stand out. So, I can't mentally map it to Army in that context. Likewise, if he's civilian (i.e. 'former' military) then he's at the 'relaxed' end of the grooming spectrum for the Corps. I don't connect the image with mercs ... since I don't think it's something they'd 'earn' enough to do. So, that's why I think something like DIA. Again, who can know?
