Just got back from the Fascist Mall. You should see the stores!

Victoria's Secret Police
Abercrombie & Snitch
Banana Republican
Slave Trader Joe's
Bild-a-Berger

The list goes on and on.

The Jerk Truck is in Pembroke Pines near 442. My friend, Chef Tally, runs it. Normally people prefer pork to chicken but jerk chicken is soooo good that most prefer it to jerk pork. Both available.

I'll be starting work again soon for Walmart, I'll keep everyone here up to date....

Will you be a greeter? There was a recent DUmmie thread about a DUmmie who went to Walmart and got into the face of a greeter there.

Slave Trader Joe's

You hit a painful point with that one. South Florida doesn't have a Trader Joe's. When I lived in La-La Land I used to love going to Trader Joe's. Lots of great and unusual munchies there.

I wish!

Nope, for some reason, this store has always had a chronic shortage of "cart pushers", (though I prefer "buggy wrangler")....

There was a recent DUmmie thread about a DUmmie who went to Walmart and got into the face of a greeter there.

Probably because the greeter said, "Hello! Welcome to Walmart!", and offered him/her/it a shopping cart...

Since most greeters are retirees or "physically challenged", they pose little or no threat to irate DUmmies...(BUT, one that works at our store is retired military, and he is allowed to "C&C", if you get my drift...)

Pretty funny thread PJ!

"We should start a wiki photo database of odd folks at demonstrations. It would be interesting. Sort of a rogues gallery."

I had to take a pic of Jesus and Jerry Garcia at the Yes show in Chicago a couple years back. Priceless. You couldn't tell the difference!

Sorry this is a day late and a dime short ...

The cute -- er, clean-cut -- camera guy and his bud look like tourists to me.

The DU commenters sound like they have crushes on both the camera guy and the jacket guy.

Funny stuff!

Ann

I forgot, what is the origin of the Walmart detention center joke?

Here you go old sport: Wal-Mart's data center remains mystery

Lots of juicy stuff for the paranoid there, e.g.: '"This is not something that we discuss publicly," Thum said. "We have no comment. And that's off the record."'

Hey Jiggy,

I just read the article, along with the comments....

The comments sound like they came straight from the DUmpster....frightening to think there are actually people that think like that, more frightening still to think they vote....
