It sounds like you should invite me to YOUR Thanksgiving dinner next year. However, I would be a lousy guest since I suffer severely from SAD (Seasonal Affected Depression) and NJ is far enough north at this time of year to make me very sad and gloomy.
Turkey can be a counter to SAD, which is one of the reasons I make it regularly. The same chemical that knocks people out after TDay dinner is also an anti-depressant. I've read that it may be more of a placebo effect, as there's not enough of the chemical to be affective.
