REPUBLICANS, unite to defeat the bipartisan OBL.
time for Mr. Phil-E-Buster.
Lots of truth here:
Nearly all of the "hardworking, goodhearted" illegal aliens that Bush will legalize will vote Democrat for the remainder of their lives, thereby effectively ending the two party system in America.
Mexicans still living in Mexico, but disenchanted with life there, will see the latest amnesty as a sure sign that invading America can be accomplished with impunity. It will be abundantly clear that America's "conservative" president is adamant in his refusal to enforce U.S. borders and immigration laws.
Thus, scores of millions of additional illegal aliens will head north with little or no concern for U.S. borders and immigration laws.
G.W. Bush will go down in history as the president who actively campaigned for the invasion of America by foreigners from a third-world nation. He will be remembered as the president who discarded American sovereignty, rule of law, language, and culture in exchange for cheap lettuce and fruit.
He will also be remembered as the president who sent American men and women 8,000 miles from home to fight for Iraq and Afghanistan, but who abandoned the American people at our southern border.
Finally, G.W. Bush will be remembered as the president who abandoned the Republican party and consigned it to permanent minority status.

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
Inscription on the Statue of Liberty -
---
Between 1892 and 1954, 12 million "European" immigrants entered the United States through Ellis Island in New York Harbor, greeted by the Statue of Liberty "next door." Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty are now a "Memorial" for all the European immigrants who came mostly from Germany, England, Ireland and Italy. The landmark saves the memories and heritage of over 100 million Americans who can trace their immigrant roots here and includes the Immigrant Museum that offers visitors a chance to see what coming to America meant through film, archives, photos, recordings and the aura of the Great Hall. The "Memorial" also includes the Immigrant Wall of Honor, a circular monument containing 200,000 names commemorating immigrants who contributed significantly to the "building" of America.
The Monument to the Mexican Immigrant Project is proposing that we build a "Monument" of our own to "commemorate" our millions of immigrants that have returned to Aztlan. To this end, we are proposing the formation of a "Monument to the Mexican Immigrant Steering Committee" to plan, design and raise funds for the construction of a "Monument" in a location near the US/Mexico border or in another suitable location. We will als be taking suggestions and ideas from the community on a proper "Monument" through this web site. One suggestion for a "Monument" is to construct a "very large" Aztec Pyramid somewhere along the US/Mexico border with a powerfull "Light (Laser)Beacon" on top that may be seen for miles from both sides of the border. Another suggestion is to place a large glass statue of La Virgen de Guadalupe on top of the pyramid illuminated by green, white and red laser beams.
For the present, we would like your input on the proposed project through our Contact Form . The input we would like at this time is as follows:
* Volunteers or suggestion of individuals to serve on the Steering Committee.
* Ideas on the "conception" of the Monument.
* Suggestion of names to include on an Immigrant Honor List. The names and a short biography will be engraved on bronze plates and will be a permanent part of the "Monument."
* References to resources that can assist the "project" such as artists, sculptors, contractors, engineers, etc.
Please contact us through our form at http://www.aztlan.net/contactlavoz.html
Additional information will be available here as the project evolves.!

****Amnesty is a Trojan Horse driven into our country by polititions like GW Bush who ignored the problem until it could not never be fixed. Welcome our grandchildren to third-world America...The invaders won without firing a shot....Socialist Democratic Party ticket coming to America for our grandchildren.
I know the President's character, and I know the MSM. Truly, should such a story appear on the MSM, I shall not believe it. I, instead, will watch robots parrot the so-called news.
All of life is indeed a walk of faith. Agnostics, atheists, liberals, conservatives, libertarian - alike - you believe what you want to believe, and this is exactly a "rising tide" the secular humanists will be making soon, no doubts. That there is no objective truth, that truth does not exist.
But it does.

If Bush pushes through this illegal amnesty thing, I think he should be impeached for failure to keep his oath of office to defend this country. This point alone in my opinion is grounds for kicking his butt out of the office. He IS NOT defending the republic from the Mexican invasion.
Good Lord, we're all gonna DIE!!!!!
"He will also be remembered as the president who sent American men and women 8,000 miles from home to fight for Iraq and Afghanistan, but who abandoned the American people at our southern border."
Sad, but true. Right on the mark.
Stopping terrorism EVERYWHERE should be the goal, Mr. President.

Anti-Illegal agitation weakened the GOP and cost it the most conservative members of the Congress. This was forseeable six months ago when the hysteria was in full throat here. Now NOTHING will be done.
Que hable usted???
Yo no hablo Engles porque los Estados Unidos del Norte esta Aztlan.
Everything with the illegals in COngress was SOOOOO predictable. Once the election was over, the COngressional Prostitutes of both parties and their collaborator in the White House would work to effectuate yet ANOTHER amnesty bill.
The KNOW the American voting public has the memory and attention span of a six week old puppy.
Yes! We have to defeat Bush and Rinos on this or we will be a permanent minority.
It's bad enough that the GOP got it's clock cleaned this go around.
Now we get to listen to this hysteria (I would say it's hysterical too) for at least the next two years.
Anyone want to bet an Amero that this post gets flamed?

The St. Louis sailed out of Hamburg into the Atlantic Ocean in the summer of 1939 carrying over 950 Jewish refugees, mostly wealthy, seeking asylum from Nazi persecution just before World War II.
After seeking asylum in Cuba and being refused, the ship headed to Florida, where, on 4 June 1939, it was also refused permission to unload on orders of President Roosevelt. It then tried to enter Canada but was refused once more. The ship sailed back to Germany, whereupon various European nations each agreed to admit a small number of its passengers, the vast majority of whom ended up perishing in the Holocaust.
Some interesting responses on this thread!
Sorry. Too many believe in George's "new America".
We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture. Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende. For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America. As I speak, we are celebrating the success of democracy in Mexico. George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000. |
Here is an excerpt of a good critique of that speech:
In equating our intimate historic bonds to our mother country and to Canada with our ties to Mexico, W. shows a staggering ignorance of the civilizational facts of life. The reason we are so close to Britain and Canada is that we share with them a common historical culture, language, literature, and legal system, as well as similar standards of behavior, expectations of public officials, and so on. An essay on multi-culturalism and immigration.
How can we account for this remarkable silence? The answer, as I will try to show, is that when the Immigration Reform Act of 1965 was being considered in Congress, the demographic impact of the bill was misunderstood and downplayed by its sponsors. As a result, the subject of population change was never seriously examined. The lawmakers stated intention was that the Act should not radically transform Americas ethnic character; indeed, it was taken for granted by liberals such as Robert Kennedy that it was in the nations interest to avoid such a change. But the dramatic ethnic transformation that has actually occurred as a result of the 1965 Act has insensibly led to acceptance of that transformation in the form of a new, multicultural vision of American society. Dominating the media and the schools, ritualistically echoed by every politician, enforced in every public institution, this orthodoxy now forbids public criticism of the new path the country has taken. We are a nation of immigrants, we tell ourselves and the subject is closed. The consequences of this code of silence are bizarre. One can listen to statesmen and philosophers agonize over the multitudinous causes of our decline, and not hear a single word about the massive immigration from the Third World and the resulting social divisions. Opponents of population growth, whose crusade began in the 1960s out of a concern about the growth rate among resident Americans and its effects on the environment and the quality of life, now studiously ignore the question of immigration, which accounts for fully half of our population growth.
This curious inhibition stems, of course, from a paralyzing fear of the charge of racism. The very manner in which the issue is framedas a matter of equal rights and the blessings of diversity on one side, versus racism on the othertends to cut off all rational discourse on the subject. One can only wonder what would happen if the proponents of open immigration allowed the issue to be discussed, not as a moralistic dichotomy, but in terms of its real consequences. Instead of saying: We believe in the equal and unlimited right of all people to immigrate to the U.S. and enrich our land with their diversity, what if they said: We believe in an immigration policy which must result in a staggering increase in our population, a revolution in our culture and way of life, and the gradual submergence of our current population by Hispanic and Caribbean and Asian peoples. Such frankness would open up an honest debate between those who favor a radical change in Americas ethnic and cultural identity and those who think this nation should preserve its way of life and its predominant, European-American character. That is the actual choiceas distinct from the theoretical choice between equality and racismthat our nation faces. But the tyranny of silence has prevented the American people from freely making that choice.
