Wal-Mart's stock had been moving lower over the past few weeks...one wonders if it has to do with lowered earnings estimates associated with a possible Christmas time boycott by conservative shoppers over the issue of funding homosexual activism. It was rebounding earlier today after yesterday's PR appearance on Fox by one of the VPs mentioning that they were promoting the use of the phrase Merry Christmas. It will be interesting to see what it does over the next month or so.

My guess is that it ends January closer to 40 than 50.

I believe the Walton daughter that owns/started/runs the "llama bank" is gay.
I could be wrong though

It (the ad)seemed to say that they don't discriminate against them. I don't think they are legally allowed to anyway.

Sure, those links go to some kind of weird pop-up that says "Adobe".
I'll wait until I can check them out on a normal website, thank you.
Now I wonder what kind of viruses my computer just got....

I wonder how much money the unions dumped on this "American Family Association" to come up with this "boycott"?

What's next??? The Wal-Mart Union???

Wal Mart donated more money to Democrats this year than Republicans. That also says something. Also, the 'Rats have stopped their attacks against Wal Mart all of the sudden.

Here is some more 'evil' donations:'

WAL-MART DONATIONS

In January 2005, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club produced and donated 42 truckloads of water to 10 military installations in the United States for personnel who were being deployed to Iraq and other international locations.

Wal-Mart and Sam's Club Foundation recently presented a $1 million matching gift to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation. In December 2004, Wal-Mart contributed a record donation of $150,000 to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Also, Wal-Mart gave more than $1 million to support organizations providing support to U.S. troop families.

I agree. I'll definitely pay $40 for a pair of jeans for my daughter and not $15 because of this. Not.

It is a bizarre belief held by many that corporate America is part of the conservative movement. On issues ranging from the gay agenda, to immigration, to racial preferences, they are entirely on the Left's side.

That Wal-Mart has joined them is no surprise really.

So far this month, I've spent about $125 at Walmart. $150 last month. In fact, that's about average.

I looked up the organization that WalMart is sponsoring. It reminds me of Jesse Jackson's strong-arm Rainbow Coalition group. WalMart is definitely a sponsor of this organization.

I think this petition is a good idea. A two day boycott during the busiest two day of the year should send a message to WalMart.

This organization is definitely for gay marriage as you can see throughout the website. I wonder if they are using donation money for political causes. I wonder if this organization is using any of it's money as a PAC to further gay marriage?

Page 6 is about WalMart’s commitment.

This organization definitely pushes same sex marriage besides workplace equality.

WalMart was a sponsor of their summit this year. Page 3 & page 11 &page 69

Below is the petition. All you are agreeing to is a two day boycott.

https://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/signpetition.asp?id=1630

Dear President Scott,

This will let you know that I will not be shopping at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club on the Friday or Saturday following Thanksgiving.

Your decision to financially support groups promoting homosexual marriage is very unfortunate. You could have remained neutral but decided to join the battle on the side of homosexual activist organizations.

With great disappointment, I will help spread the word to my friends and family about your decision.
