In a weird way, the Democrat victories in the House and Senate yesterday were a good thing in the long run. Yeah, it's hard to see it now but already we see the beginnings of the big Democrat crackup as the loonies start elbowing their way around and come up against the professional Democrats. Such is the case that we see here in this DUmmie THREAD demanding to "IMPEACH BUSH!" When they find out that the impeachment process won't be happening RIGHT AWAY the DUmmies will screech about betrayal thus tearing the Democrats apart even more. Simultaneously we will see the DUmmies confronting the Hillary Machine in her bid for presidential nomination. Now that the DUmmies had a taste of success, they will demand that one of their own, NOT Hillary, receive the nomination. So stand by folks for a lot of upcoming fireworks from within the Democrats. In the meantime, let us now observe the DUmmies make their IMMEDIATE impeachment demands in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, reminding himself that a two-year interregnum is not an eternity, is in the [brackets]:
IMPEACH BUSH!
[We won a few hours ago...LUNACY NOW!!!]
IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH!
[The one dimensional mind in all its glory.]
Impeach Bush? IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!
[So you want Nancy Pelosi to start off by breaking her promise of no impeachment?]
And Cheney .... President Pelosi in '07 is the goal of 'WE THE PEOPLE ..." Make it happen ........................
[Sorry but in case you haven't noticed the Democrats still don't have the two-thirds of the Senate needed to convict. No President Pelosi in '07 or any other time.]
IMPEACH BUSH!
[Your disappointment will be FUn to watch. And you can't blame Bush when that doesn't happen. Your own Democrats will be getting flamed for that.]
That is a Good idea but possibly bad politics.
[Bad politics have never stopped the DUmmies before.]
Time's a wasting... Let's not delay this any further!
[Start picketing Nancy Pelosi when she doesn't start impeachment IMMEDIATELY.]
but Speaker Pelosi says NO! will she let have at his ass?
[You'll want to kick her ass if she does not break her promise.]
President Pelosi IMPEACH BUSH!
[Democrat civil war is going to be interesting.]
Let the subpoenas fly, Mr. Conyers, Mr. Rangel, Mr. Skelton .
[Yes. Let the public see these clowns in action. Great way to start off your return to power.]
Before it's too late! First order of bidness!
[Before it's too late! First order of bitterness!]
In April 2000 I was depressed when the government agents kidnapped Elian Gonzalez and sent him back to Cuba. However, as a result of that kidnapping, Bush NOT Gore was elected President a few months later since it tipped just enough votes against the Democrats as a result. Look at the long view. This is just an interregnum.
That may be true. The problem is, we have troops in Iraq right now who are going to be screwed hard.
But I'll try to stay positive. Looking forward to the DUFUs in January when they start asking, "Wait, where are the articles of impeachment?"
Much like the GOP never had a conservative majority.
The race for 2008 begins today, folks... time to start posting projections.
GOP: I'll give the inside track to Guiliani -- when a conservative anti-Rudy organization not only shuts down but endorses Guiliani based on a closer look, he may very well have the appeal necessary to win a GOP primary. He has baggage, but unless a dark horse comes in late, they all do. Longshot: Gingrich.
'Rats: Up in the air. Certainly Hillary! has the money and organization, but she has high negatives even among Democrats, and the moonbat wing will actively work against her. Of course, the moonbats will blow their wad on someone like Feingold, who won't win either. I'll say the 'rats look to governorships, and take Richardson. Longshot: Bayh.
As long as we survive them.
The DUmmies did not get the liberal majority they were hoping for, just a democratic majority. These two factions will battle each other, and in the end, the GOP, if they play it correctly, will retake it in two years. If they have any common sense, the moderates will oust Pelosi as speaker and not let Conyers take over Judiciary or Rangel take Ways and Means. This would mean their war has to start early. But if it doesn't happen and the liberal nuts take charge, the GOP will eviscerate them in 2008.
The irony is the nutbars would survive and gain seniority, like they did in 1994.

Looking forward to the DUFUs in January when they start asking, "Wait, where are the articles of impeachment?"In business hours?

I was over at the DU this morning and that question is ALREADY being asked..
quite the amazing bunch over there..
"In a weird way, the Democrat victories in the House and Senate yesterday were a good thing in the long run."
"In the long run, we're all dead." -- John Maynard Keynes (about the only thing he ever said that made sense)
I agree with you. I don't think this is as bad as we think it is. Democrats did not win this election, Republicans lost it. Perhaps Pubbies will get their house in order and come back stronger and more willing to listen to the people who put them there. I'm disappointed, but not down and out, certainly not suicidal as Dummies become when they lose.
Actually, the DUFUs might be running for an election in December but more on that in a few days.
I'm leaning towards a candidate who doesn't share my caffeine addiction.
"We have two months to finish up Iraq, or tear it down to the point it won't be a problem. Because come January the troops are going to be cut off."
There's one other thing that I haven't seen in any other thread that's really bothering me - Hussein better be on the end of the rope by 20 Jan, or he gets released by the mobs.
Have a good breakfast.
Watching the DUmmies and Democrats squabble is going to make for a fun couple of years.
They'll be issued on May 12th.
I'm not very happy, but it's only two years. Iraq's in a lot better shape than South Vietnam was when we abandoned them. Since we're going to be standing down a lot sooner than we intended, I hope and expect they WILL be able to stand up.
Probably the longest-term effect of a pullout will be that America will never have allies again, because no one will trust that we won't change direction after every election.
Speaking of caffeine addiction, I actually know a guy, Brian, who NEVER drank coffee in his life. No, he isn't a Mormon and he says he gets his caffeine via drinking soda. However he said he just never had the desire to drink coffee. I have many times offered to buy him a cup of coffee just to see his reaction but he always declines. What's up with that? You would figure that he would at least be curious enough to take a sip of coffee. Me, I can't exist without coffee. My body SCREAMS for it every morning.
I commented on a DUFU last week that a Democrat win would still be a win for DUFU.
The Dummies do not understand how things work. Politics for them is the method of gaining power over others and using that power to fulfill their fantasies, fantasies arising from their own impotence and failure.
I think that is why they worship dictators, Castro, Che, Chavez, Little Kim, Stalin. They must be immensely relieved that they don't have to "take to the streets" in all this rain, but can scream "off with their heads" at the computer screen and really believe that the Dems are their personal henchmen.
So funny, PJ. Two great years for Dummie Funnies coming up.
