If you needed any help in knowing who to vote for next Tuesday, John Kerry has just provided you with the very reason you should vote against the Democrats: Liberal elitist condescending arrogance. In a speech purportedly about education, this man, and that may be an insult to true men, made the statement that if you didn't keep up with your studies and do your homework and get good grades, you will end up in Iraq. Translation: the grunts on the ground were too dumb or lazy to do their studies and finish high school so they joined the military and are now in Iraq. The comment is dripping with the contempt this person has for the military. Why does he have this contempt? Because he is a coward. Deep down Kerry knows that his 4 month stint in Vietnam was a sham. He goes over there and in those short 4 months manages to get 3 purple hearts, which was the magic figure for him because when you got 3 you went home. There were some people who served years there and didn't get one. Kerry was there for 4 months and got 3. A couple I understand were suspicious to say the least. So he resents those true heroes who fight for us every day because he wishes he were as brave.
He has the gall to stand there today and criticise Republicans for suggesting that what he said was what he meant, and had the nerve to say that because he was a veteran we should know he would not criticise troops. We already know he will criticise the troops. What did he do when he scampered home from Vietnam with his tail between his legs? He went before Congress and called the colleagues he left behind war criminals. In 2005 he made the statement that our troops in Iraq were terrorising women and children in the dark of night. We know he has contempt for them because he is jealous of their brave, true service. Bravery he could only dream of having. This coward wanted to get service in Vietnam on his resume because he knew it might be useful later in life for a political career.
So what if some of our soldiers aren't great scholars. I'd rather serve alongside them than some lily-livered Liberal elitist who's only true claim to fame is that he runs around looking for rich widows to attach himself to so he can marry them and get access to their cash. How does he think our brave men and women that went through West Point, Annapolis and the Air Force Academy got into those places? We have some of the most brilliant minds at work in Iraq right now.
Of course he is trying to back pedal now and say that he was referring to Bush. That is nonsense. If you listen to his remarks it is quite clear what he was saying. Bush was not mentioned, and Bush is way better educated than Kerry himself. Maybe he had been drinking some of his favourite French wine when he made his comments. But his words reveal the true attitude of Liberals toward our military. The Clintons feel just the same.
If traitor sounds harsh, then so be it. I know Vietnam vets who believe that Jane Fonda should have been charged with treason for what she did and said during that war. Kerry did just as bad when he went before Congress and testified the way he did. He cost American lives; there were still troops in the field and there was Kerry doing the Vietcong's propaganda for the them. The North Vietnamese actually played a recording of his comments to American POW's to demoralise them. Just as Al-Jazeera repeated his comments about what our troops were doing to women and children in Iraq. He was making their argument for them. All for political gain. He cost lives in Iraq and it is called giving aid and comfort to the enemy. On the Fox News Channel today there was an analyst who used to be a news anchor for an Arabic language news network, and she clearly stated that Al-Jazeera and other Arab news outlets who are sympathetic to the terrorists will love Kerry for what he has said and be able to say to their supporters "Look, this man is winning the war for us in America". Aid and comfort to the enemy. Recently the Iranian Foreign Minister said that the American public should listen to John Kerry. Why? Because they know he is a coward and an appeaser. A man who will vote to send troops into battle and then vote against funding them.
John Kerry cost American lives in Vietnam and in Iraq. No doubt these latest comments will be put onto the Arab street and used as encouragement for the insurgents to keep on fighting. Who needs enemies when you have people like John Kerry in the Senate? Keep Liberals like this out of office. Not all of them are stupid enough to show their contempt so openly. Don't give them the chance to show it after they gain power.
As does the title: Liberals Cost Lives. They get masses of people killed and they could care less. They are horrible human beings.
I would bet my life on atleast... at the VERY least hundreds have lost lives in Iraq alone because of Kerry's words.

Okay – lets all chill. Maybe a majority of our troops aren’t smart enough to be President of the United States of America.
However, at least they are smart enough (unlike kerry) to know they will NEVER be President!

I'm sure that the MSM tomorrow will start running with the Kerry excuse that he was talking about Bush and not the troops. It will be on all the alphabet stations and CNN if it isn't already. Kerry is so absolutely arrogant. If he had just apologized, this would have gone away. I don't buy his excuse and neither does my Veteran husband.
John Kerry has still not proven that he actually is a veteran of Viet Nam. We are still waiting for him to release his military records to the public???????

Please send the link below to an outstanding video re Kerry from now to Nam to you email lis. He has a long documented history of hating our military and a strong America. He is the poster boy of the lib and was their presidential candidate in 2004. What he said about our brave warriors is how most liberal rats in congress or running for congress feel.
