Listen Up! Take a good, long look at Washington, DC- and you will see clearly why staying single is BLISS for this gal! The endless whining about Iraq is enough to send me running to the john (that is a toilet for those of you in Rio Linda- and btw- can we still call it a john or is that too sexist these days) hurling my last snack.
Tony Snow (whom I adore) came out Monday and announced that the “Stay the Course” phrase would now be abandoned. What a WHIMPY move! Just DEFINE what it means guys- for Pete’s sake. Giving into the Drive By Media is the weakest move we can make. President Bush- you took us to war for a worthy cause- defend it- damnit! The methods to reach the goal will always change in a war. It is the entire process of war. We must be flexible, willing to change course, always have an alternate action plan, depending on what the enemy does. DUH!
But the march, the journey, stays the same. VICTORY!
Benchmarks, Timeline- whatever you want to call it; being able to maneuver and change is the name of the game and the blueprint for success. I don’t care if the methods change, but lately, the message seems to be changing.
It gets worse. Vice President Dick Cheney is for water boarding, then NOT for water boarding? Or is it “simulated” drowning?
Bottom line is this. The message to the enemy should be clear. WE ARE HERE TO WIN! WE WILL BE HERE UNTIL HELL FREEZES OVER, IF THAT IS WHAT IT TAKES! YOU WILL NOT HAVE IRAQ AS A SAFE HAVEN FOR A TERROR STATE! YOU WILL NOT TERRORIZE IRAQI CITIZENS UNIMPEDED! WE WILL HUNT EVERY ONE OF YOU DOWN AND DESTROY YOU!

Simulate Drowning? HA! Only for the good little terrorists that sing like canaries! As for the rest of them- no simulation needed. These are terrorists. They torture, they kill, they behead; and they don’t save these actions for just anybody. These actions are fair game for ANYONE and EVERYONE who disagrees with them. Loving on their captured buddies will NEVER change this. NEVER- EVER!
So- this is why I am single- and am THRILLED about it.

I am not a fish fan....because I don't like the "fishy" taste.
I am told that the fresher the fish, the less of a "fishy" taste there is.
If that is true....I would have to go to where the fish is caught..LOL
BAR-B-QUE...on the other hand..is best cooked slow..and even better the second day.
Everything you say is true: but don't avoid frozen salmon - most of the Alaskan stocks are frozen as soon as they're caught and "Baadered" (processed). Result is a decent product, though not as satisfying as eating one you bagged off of your own outrigger.
It's a Greener Grass thing - I've eaten so much of it I'm not really crazy about it anymore.
I really gotta make it down there. I was thinking of relocating to Amarillo or Lubbock, because my hometown is now so commie-infested and I have a bit of equity built up in my overpriced house.
I wondered about that Monday night.

There are no Cowboys in Washington. The Cowboys are in Dallas (well, Irving). Washington has Redskins. And the two really don't like each other.

You can't beat the prices of Texas homes...compared to either coast.
Lubbock or Amarillo would even be better prices than here in the Metroplex....
Austin is like Boulder or Seattle...LIB CITY...and the most expensive place to live (but it is very pretty down there).
I play it pretty "safe" at any seafood place..I usually order popcorn shrimp...LOL.
BTW..you will have freepmail in a second.
AMEN, I'm with you on this. The President is shouldering a tremendous burden. No doubt others think he should do this that or the other thing differently. It's going to be up to us to help him carry that burden. Not add to it.

Oh, I loved watching Gilligan's Island. Exactly what we need on TV now! Can't think of a single TV program worth watching more than ten minutes.
