PING!!!
It's like a union.
New Jersey residents, you have my sympathies facing a choice between a crook - Menendez - and a RINO idiot - Kean.
believe the science of stem cell research holds immeasurable potential that might one day provide a cure for such a horrible disease. The promise of stem cell research is great, and I strongly believe the federal government should fund stem cell research, with a system of comprehensive ethical oversight.
Looks like this jackass managed to misstate the issue. It's embryonic stem cell research. The only reason people fail to make a differentiation is they are ignorant or they're trying to confuse the issue. Either way, this guy doesn't deserve anyone's support.

Wow, I'm glad I don't have to hold my nose and vote for this guy.

Outrage Over YouTube.com Michael J. Embryo Ad
by Scott Ott
(2006-10-25) Claire McCaskill, the Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate from Missouri, expressed outrage today over a political ad produced in response to a TV commercial run by her campaign featuring actor Michael J. Fox, who has Parkinsons Disease.
The response ad, entitled Michael J. Embryo, which quickly became one of the least-played videos on YouTube.com, features a still photo of an infant in the womb with a voiceover apparently recorded by the child himself.
Mrs. McCaskill said her use of a writhing and twitching Mr. Fox to highlight her support of expanded funding for embryonic stem cell research was fair play, and simply meant to show that incumbent Sen. Jim Talent while talking about the importance of family ties, actually wants Alex P. Keaton to suffer and die.
However, she said the Michael J. Embryo ad absolutely crosses the line by using a fetal actor to stir up the irrational compassion of voters who should never be forced to think about the implications of stem cell research.
The ScrappleFace Enterprise Institute, a satirical think-tank which produced the response ad, said an earlier version of the spot showed the baby in the womb moving about, sucking its thumb and appearing to yawn, but that was considered too emotionally charged.
We decided to go with the still photo, said an unnamed Institute spokesman, because we didnt want to beat people over the head with the obvious, or give them false hopes that a cure would be found for abortion.
The spokesman declined requests for ultrasound interviews with the intra-uterine actor, adding that hes not a very public person
at least not at this point.
He obviously didn't listen to a thing Rush said. Kean should be asking why Fox was on TV misleading people.
I wonder if Kean knows how many listeners Rush has?
Just a guess but, I would say more people are listening to Rush than Kean.
I heard Rush say what he said, and it didn't add anything to the discussion. Who cares why Fox was shaking -- the important thing was that he was LYING, not that he was shaking.
Once in a while, Rush distracts from the message. Which would be the same even if Fox was in the last stages and was filmed in a hospital bed -- GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT SPEND OUR TAX DOLLARS KILLING BABIES.
little boys should not open their mouth's in class when the professor is lecturing, they should shut up and listen.
it's a shame that the candidate who will be indicted by the feds the day after the election has more integrity than the other candidate.
Mark is absolutely right. As a NJ resident, I'll pull the lever for neither senatorial candidate. Kean Jr. has as much character and principle as Menendez. They're both creeps--who cares which one gets elected? I don't care which party. Is any election worth my giving up what I believe in? I think not-especially since I am staunchly against embryonic stem cell research and this issue WILL be voted on by the Senate every year (unlike abortion-which will be decided in the courts).
I've heard pundits describe Kean as not the brightest bulb on the tree - guess they're right.
Like many other conservatives, I can no longer support Tom Kean Jr. I urge other conservatives who may have considered voting for him to reconsider. Perhaps, a write-in vote for yourself will fill the bill. It seems that in New Jersey all the players follow the script of the bosses.
The Tom 'Mc'Kean comment(s) are over the top and is the reason why conservatives MUST demand more from Republicans wearing RINO clothing. Like John McCain whose microphone antics are legendary when attacking conservative ideals and opinions, Tom Kean Jr. is following the wrong pied piper.
Apolygize now Mr. Kean to Don Rumsfeld, Dennis Hastert and Rush Limbaugh. Do yourself a big favor and get educated before engaging your mouth. It will do you well.
I'm afraid that Kean, if elected, will be worse than Chafee.

There's nothing philosophical when it comes to Tom Kean Jr. It's all politics," says Rick Shaftan, a conservative political consultant. "He's gone against conservatives every chance he gets."
Throughout the campaign, Kean has avoided calling himself a Republican. It is not a description he uses on his Web site, in his campaign literature or his television advertisements. Instead, he prefers the label "independent reformer."
Kean wants to maintain a separation from the GOP, given the scandals that have rocked the party in recent months, and from President Bush, given his low approval ratings.
He likes to compare himself to Arizona Sen. John McCain, with whom he campaigned last Sunday at a fundraiser in Edison.
McCain met with Kean and a dozen of the top people in his campaign before the event. Seated around a table in the office at the back of a massive catering hall, the prohibitive favorite for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination said he would welcome the young Kean into his "Gang of 14," a bipartisan group of moderates in Congress.
