Tom Kean Jr. attacks Limbaugh over Michael J. Fox's Stem Cell Ad

Tuesday, Mark Levin discussed Tom Kean Jr's comments about Rush Limbaugh.

I'm with Mark. I would rather see the Democrat win the race than a Republican who is that liberal!

(Mountainside, NJ) – U.S. Senate candidate Tom Kean, Jr. released the following statement today regarding recent remarks made by Rush Limbaugh: “I categorically denounce the inappropriate and outrageous claims made by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show today. Parkinson’s is a horrible disease that ravages the human body, and to belittle someone suffering with the disease has no place in politics.

I believe the science of stem cell research holds immeasurable potential that might one day provide a cure for such a horrible disease. The promise of stem cell research is great, and I strongly believe the federal government should fund stem cell research, with a system of comprehensive ethical oversight.”

He obviously didn't listen to a thing Rush said. Kean should be asking why Fox was on TV misleading people.

Rush can take it...and doubt he will be bothered.

What I am bothered about is the PEOPLE...

How can they vote and or read legislation to tell their Congressperson how to vote...if they don't listen and read and think things through before lashing out!

Also, if I hadn't been listening to Rush on Monday and Tuesday, I MIGHT have been mislead into thinking he DID make fun of MJF...and that is all. (methinks SOME of the other talk show hosts would LOVE for us to think Rush would make fun of MJF, thus, reducing his numbers???)

I wonder if Kean knows how many listeners Rush has?

Just a guess but, I would say more people are listening to Rush than Kean.

I can think of one host in particular that might do that.

...and there are at least a 100 more reasons, like nancy pelosi repeated a 1000 times, or relative control of the house, taxes repeated 1000 times, border control repeated a 1000 times. If only idiots would wake up and realize that losing is not winning, and playing at losing is suicide. Thanks for your patience, I'm losing mine.

I heard Rush say what he said, and it didn't add anything to the discussion. Who cares why Fox was shaking -- the important thing was that he was LYING, not that he was shaking.

Once in a while, Rush distracts from the message. Which would be the same even if Fox was in the last stages and was filmed in a hospital bed -- GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT SPEND OUR TAX DOLLARS KILLING BABIES.

little boys should not open their mouth's in class when the professor is lecturing, they should shut up and listen.
it's a shame that the candidate who will be indicted by the feds the day after the election has more integrity than the other candidate.

Rush certainly can take ANY criticism, he is used to being slandered by the DBM.
It is also important to note that he will probably increase his already HUGE audience by 10% thanks to the additional coverage....even if it is inaccurate as usual.

Mark is absolutely right. As a NJ resident, I'll pull the lever for neither senatorial candidate. Kean Jr. has as much character and principle as Menendez. They're both creeps--who cares which one gets elected? I don't care which party. Is any election worth my giving up what I believe in? I think not-especially since I am staunchly against embryonic stem cell research and this issue WILL be voted on by the Senate every year (unlike abortion-which will be decided in the courts).

We lived through 50 years of dems chairing everything--Some thngs are just not worth an election win. Kean will vote with the dems anyway--he's from NJ and getting elected is all that matters.

I suppose there's some value to having a "Republican" vote for our guys for Senate leadership

That's true.

But it's also true that if Kean is elected, the Republicans will have to give him committee assignments that would normally go to Republicans.

I guess the rest of us not faced with the same difficult decisions, should be grateful there is only one of you. Remember the words of a well known song, no you wouldn't, Accentuate the positve, eliminate the negative. I suggest you begin immediately.

I absolutely know the song- My mother sings it all the time. If there was a positive to Kean Jr, you might have a point. I'd suggest you look at some of his campaigning, he's a dem--he has to be; it's NJ.

In Delaware, the only republican representing us in Washington is the RINO, Mike Castle! I'll have to see how he's doing in the polls before I vote. He usually wins by a large margin, so I don't bother selecting anyone for that office. However, if the race is close, I may have to hold my nose.

If I lived in NJ, on the other hand, I don't think holding my nose would help!

MLF-you're absolutely right! Kean Jr. is about as Republican as Ted Kennedy. I really don't think Kean stands a chance anyway-Jerseyites vote straight Dem until our taxes go up (Florio). I'm certain dems will raise them again and we'll throw them all out ala Gingrich. Think of all the Rinos we can get rid of!

AMEN to that!
We certainly have a "Hobson's choice" here in NJ, and I wish Mark would drop this.

Hey Fuddie! We'll have to disagree on this one. I can't vote for Kean.
