Dear Rush:
Pardon my French, but youre full of s***! As I listened to your show last week, you chose to criticize and attack conservative Americans like myself who feel the Republican Party does not deserve to win in November. Rush, since when did you become such a shill for the GOP? Choosing the party over the base is a very disappointing move to this long time listener. Im very disappointed in you, Rush Limbaugh, youve lost touch with the reality that is life for the common man in America. I heartily recommend you take pause and reconsider your programming strategy. Do you really want to attack those of us on the front lines versus liberalism? Rush, you yourself have become one of the elite of our society. Perhaps I need to give you some perspective, so you can better understand our anger, or at least mine.

give me 4 years, I'd fix this country...LOL
what part of my platform don't you like?
If only the common man with some common sense could lead...instead, we get career politicians who happen to be lawyers...and score million dollar land deals. we're in for a world of hurt in the future unless we get a grip on our country.

>>>so joining the Army last year was childish? let's talk issues, defend your position, rather than just make insults.>>>
I'm afraid there are some here who don't know how to do anything else. Take a gander at the posts to me.

I did not say I was staying home and I did not say I was voting straight Democrat...I am voting anti-incumbent. I am angered with the GOP, but b/c they have not used their political capital. I'm a Spencer man, all the way, vs Hillary. Where's the GOP support in NY for Spencer? No one in this state even knows who he is...
To: Jon Alvarez
If for no other reason tax policy should determine your vote, as those tax cuts are set to expire if nothing is done. Taxes-r-us liberals are salivating at the prospect of playing themselves as the "Good Samaritan" collectors of taxes I mean charity. That is the base foundation upon which liberalism survives, other people's money.
Living document judges make laws where the pretender liberals know their laws won't pass the smell test. The House of Representatives is the peoples House and nothing the Republicans have done or have not done amounts to turning over the peoples House to the liberals EVER!!!!
To: Old Retired Army Guy
no, but then the GOP will bring in truly conservative candidates...not these career, self-serving guys who've done nothing but increase the size and scope of gov't and our taxes...
To: Jon Alvarez
so how do you fix that which ails us? continue with the same old, same old? PRIMARIES.
You want someone out, you vote them out in the primary. If you lose, you suck it up and try again next time. You NEVER hand a win to the other side. NEVER.

so let me get this straight...I'm irrational b/c I am unhappy with rising taxes, soon to be gay marriage, open borders, and a nuclear Iran, and since the GOP is doing nothing about any of this, I should continue to support them?
To: Jon Alvarez
Did you get your fence voted on? Did you get your Supreme Court Justices? Did you get your deficit cut in half a year ahead of schedule? Did you get your tax cut? Did we finally get Saddam out of power after 16 resolutions and 12 years later? Have we been attacked on our home soil since 9/11? there is a bunch more. Just because the MSM isn't giving the Republicans any credit doesn't mean they haven't done anything. I wish they would have done even more but I'm not about to allow a Pelosi to ruin the accomplishments that have been done.

The only exception I would make as far as voting someone out in the primaries, is for Lincoln Chaffee. He must go, no matter what it takes. No Senator on our side is as bad as Chaffee, who actively votes against our side. The rest can be beaten in Primary elections in favor of a more conservative candidate. If Chaffee loses, nothing really changes.

my taxes have gone up, period. Governmental spending and entitlement programs continue to rise, we've become impotent on Iran...but I'm at least glad you're talking issues rather than personal attacks.
To: Jon Alvarez
As an Army Reservist do you know what Bill Clinton did to the military?
Do you know what the party of traitors will try to do if they regain power?
PLEASE think about this before you advise conservatives who CARE about our national security to put it at further risk by emasculating our military and running and hiding from terrorists.

When you start to lose emotional control, it's best to step back.
And if you can't take criticism for your positions, then it may be best not to post them on a public forum where the vaccuous ones (like you posted) will get creamed.
In other words toughen up, and fight back with your mind.

I keep hearing you say this and you are fanning a flame that isn't there honey. I have not 'lost emotional control' not one time. I have not insulted anyone, but I do find it odd that you are chastising me for 'losing emotional control', but I haven't heard or seen you post this same remark to those who are hurling insults at ME. Could it be because those people agree with your position? If that is the case, that makes you a hypocrite and that is sad. So don't go feigning mock concern for me. Thanks, but no thanks.

That's ridiculous.
In the state of Ohio we are voting for a Senator. Our choices are an on again off again RINO and a Marxist traitor.
How do you contort reality enough to say that not voting for DeWine and allowing Brown to win is 'handing this country over to Marxist traitors?'
Your position makes no sense at any level.

I don't know what district you're in but in mid-terms all races are local and if you like your rep you'll vote for them and if not you won't. I don't like entitlements that are out of control either but just remember the RATS love them all and love taxes to pay for them.

--The parties are really much more different than before, but the effect of chasing the same voter base makes them appear alike-- How can the "parties" (using the plural here) be so different if they are creatures of the same electoral base? The wings of the party (or the "two parties" if you prefer) differ on fringe, lifestyle issues (abortion--and its offshoots like emb. stem cell research being paramount) but when they actually govern not much difference is felt or seen in practical terms. --Punish the party if you must, but don't ever come back into the fold.-- The "fold" I belong to is classic, pro-Framers, conservatism, not the ideological mish-mash which pretends to be conservatism. That fold I'll gladly stay out of, because I never belonged to it in the first place. --useful idiots for the left, is also true-- No idiot here. I've remember left/liberal Presidents and congresses going back to the awful LBJ. I lived through 4 years of Carter (and you thought Bubba was bad!). I remember Richard Nixon, a republican president who made conservative utterances, but had a fetish for ginormous government that would have made BOTH Clintons blush. The remedy is that our movement must learn to think outside the box. 140 years is a long time for any political party. We should lobby to get state election laws changed. We should lobby for ballot rules allowing instant runoff voting. We should push for a PROPORTIONAL electoral college. This would give republicans in true blue states reason to get out of bed on election day (in presidential years). This would give third parties real power. If a third party pulled 10 electoral votes, and neither "demopublican" got 270, the third party would be kingmaker. "If you want my 10 EVs, then do what I say or the race goes to the House."

It's ok Jon. I've been advised that I should not post if I've 'lost emotional control'. I have yet to see that I have, but that seems to be a common theme here. Attack attack attack, and when you defend, YOU are the violent one and should just stop. That sounds something right out of the Democratic Underground rule book.

I see. At FR, if you don't follow the mantra "Republicans are good, no matter what. Republicans are good, no matter what. Republicans are good, no matter what. Republicans are good, no matter what. Republicans are good, no matter what. Republicans are good, no matter what. Republicans are good, no matter what." you are a troll. Gotcha.
THIS.........is emotional nonsense. Out of control, nonsense.
And don't call me 'honey.' I AM concerned about you. You're out of your league and sinking in your own sandbar......

I have no money to send to Spencer...and I was involved locally. I could not get any of the GOP locally to do anything if it did nothing for their own little fiefdom. Despite living in a town controlled by the GOP and a state controlled by a GOP governor and Senate, my taxes continue to soar (school alone went up 6% from last year=$100 more) and too many people I've spoken with are sharing the pain...sorry, the career guys gotta go. Fortunately, if Rush is complaining about an anti-incumbent or stay at home voters, then it's likely to happen...I'm not afraid, things can't get much worse before they have to get better.
