Pardon my French, but you’re full of s***! As I listened to your show last week, you chose to criticize and attack conservative Americans like myself who feel the Republican Party does not deserve to win in November. Rush, since when did you become such a shill for the GOP? Choosing the party over the base is a very disappointing move to this long time listener. I’m very disappointed in you, Rush Limbaugh, you’ve lost touch with the reality that is life for the common man in America. I heartily recommend you take pause and reconsider your programming strategy. Do you really want to attack those of us on the front lines versus liberalism? Rush, you yourself have become one of the elite of our society. Perhaps I need to give you some perspective, so you can better understand our anger, or at least mine.

If principles did, you wouldn't be on a conservative forum trying to get conservatives to betray the country and our conservative values.
And that is the art of politics and governing. You have to build coalitions with people who don't agree with everything you do. Get involved with Club for Growth or other organizations that support candidates that have proven bona fides for conservative fiscal policy. Or, if your hot button is abortion or something else, I am sure there is a rock-solid organization dedicated to making sure those kind of candidates are supported.
However, abandoning the whole party concept in favor of narrow interests guarantees disappointment as far as the eyes can see, regardless of who controls this cycle or the next.

You'll be even madder when you wake up on November 8th and realize that you're still out of power, and that WE have retained it.
It makes little difference on Immigration. Not everyone in the party agrees that a very expensive fence cannot be defeated by workarounds, and some ladders. You will never get everyone to agree, so what you do, is elect people who agree with you. You cannot punish those who do not tow your line of reasoning by letting the Dem's regain control of the legislative docket. It is foolhardy and stupid.
Frankly, I think the fence is a boondoggle and a waste of taxpayer money, but your contingent won this round.

What? I don't know of any Republican in my area that was challenged in the primary that was an incumbant. If there were options, other than the one whose always been there...
And what did you do at the state level to change that? Nothing?

Sorry, but I happen to believe it applies in this case. Their base is filled with people who are blind to the danger presented by radical islam, and that will invite far more attacks.
