What Liberals Will Do If Elected (Part 3)
LiberalsCostLives ^ | 10-18-2006 | MissEdie

You are sitting at home one evening with your wife. You do not have any children. You've been waiting to start a family until you have some of those student loans paid down, so you can give your children the best you can give. There is a knock at your door. You answer it and there is a young woman who is pregnant standing there. She has another baby in her arms and 2 more standing by her. She gives you a voucher and it tells you the following: By order of the US Government you are going to have to pay for this woman to have the child she is currently carrying. You must pay all the medical bills for her and the other children. You must give her an allowance so she can continue to buy her cigarettes, her alcohol and her drugs. You must pay for her groceries and her other living expenses as well as to educate her school age children. You must also pay for day care for the children too young for school so that she can watch soaps on TV all day while she is getting drunk and high. You will not try to make her accountable for anything she does. She is not receiving any child support, nor does she know who the fathers of the last 2 children are. It doesn't matter that you cannot afford a family of your own, you must pay for hers. She does not have a job, but she will get a cash windfall of about $5,000 every tax season, which you will not see a dime of.

Welcome to a Liberal America!!! If elected, Liberals will allow women like this to have baby after baby, totally illegitimate, and you, the taxpayer, will have to pay for it. Make no mistake, Liberals will allow the one section of the population that can least afford to have children to have many of them so that you and I can pay for the next generation of Liberal voters. Soon after a Liberal victory Democrats will be introducing Universal Free Health Care for everyone regardless of ability to pay. Closely following that will be Universal Free Day Care so that all those welfare mothers can carry on drinking and drugging unhindered by their illegitimate brood. In fact they will probably conceive a few more to add to your bill. The thing they will leave for a while before they start on it will be Reparations: yes, they will have you paying reparations for slavery. What, in effect, would be a "white" tax; a tax on being white.

Increased taxes is the only way they know of to try and fund these entitlement programs. If you think the prescription drug bill for Medicare was expensive, wait until you see the tab for Universal Health Care and Day Care. The Robin Hood mentality will run rampant in Congress. Rob the rich to pay the poor. Your taxes will be outrageously high if Liberals are elected. They will put us in such a position economically that they couldn't afford to defend us with military action even if they wanted to!

Our economy is doing incredibly well right now. Tax revenues are surging because of the Bush tax cuts. The deficit is being paid down quicker than all projections suggested. Economic growth is good; 5 million jobs have been created over the last few years; interest rates are low and home ownership is rising. Unemployment is low as is inflation; the Dow is nearing the 12,000 mark. All of this good news comes despite events of the last few years: September 11th 2001, the financial scandals, wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and a global War on Terror, the creation of a Homeland Security Department and all the expenses contained therein; natural disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, which the goverment paid billions to help us recover from.

Do you think that our economy could have survived all that economic turmoil and still be in the shape it's in with Liberals in power?? Not in a million years. If Kerry had won in 2004 we would be in deep recession right now and taxed to the hilt. There would also be a new layer of taxation Liberals would allow; a tax paid to the UN. Oh yes, Kofi and his cronies over at the UN have been trying to find a way to get at US taxpayer funds and the Liberals would hand it to them on a plate. It might be called the "America Is To Blame For Everything" tax.

When you stand in that booth on November 7th, ask yourself if you should be paying for unmarried welfare receivers to have children you cannot afford yourself? Should you be paying for illegal immigrants to have the same privileges? Should your pay check go down as your taxes go up for the irresponsibility of other people? Ask yourself if you can afford to put Liberals in power. You will know the answer when that knock on the door comes.

Oh, and by the way, that young woman standing at your door is an undocumented immigrant.

I don't disagree with the general thrust of this post.

However, I note a couple of things,
1)Welfare reform was signed by Slick. True, it was not supported by most RATs in Congress, but they can claim some credit for it, despite the fact that Slick vetoed it twice, before he signed it into law. Welfare reform has seriously reduced the number of people on welfare. In Georgia our welfare rolls are down by 2/3. In some states, like Wisconsin, I understand that the rolls are down to 10% of what they were prior to reform. I do agree that the RAT income redistribution philosophy will seek to throw money at this and any problem. In particular, WATCH out for Hillary's single payer medical system (probably something like Canada's).
2) "The deficit is being paid down quicker than all projections suggested."
I don't know how you come up with this comment. The deficit this past year is lower than projected, but $247billion is still a deficit, and that doesn't include the Medicare and SS deficit, not included. Bush's tax cuts have kicked in and are producing more revenue. As with Reagan's tax cuts, there is a two year lag before the laffler curve starts to really produce. We need to keep taxes lower, abolish the death tax. RATS will allow Bush's tax cuts to expire, and perhaps add more.

You took the words right out of my mouth! MissEdie hasn't been to New Orleans (just one example) lately.

Welfare rolls have been reduced by those reforms, but the welfare spongers are just spitting out more and more babies who end up claiming welfare themselves. There needs to be some control of the rampant birth rate of people who expect tax payers to pay for their childrens upkeep. For instance if you are on public assistance and become pregnant you should be sterilised. In fact, better yet, you should need a permit to have kids. You need a license to get married and drive a car, so why not have one for being parents. Limitations such as having a job being married and having your own place to live would be a start.
I agree with the observation about the deficit. It is still a deficit but it is lower than it was projected to be and it is a result of increased tax revenues.

Like you, I am frustrated that our welfare system (since FDR) has fostered illegitimacy. I am aware that welfare reform has eliminated much of the incentives for women on welfare to keep turning out babies. Even before welfare reform, most states cut off additional benefits for additional babies.

I would gladly support a law that incentivies welfare moms and fathers (whoever they are) from having more children. Mandatory sterilization would not be supported by our court system, and I am sure the Supreme Court has already ruled on mandatory sterilization.

Also, I don't want the state to control who has children. Have you ever read Huxley's "Brave New World?"

I have read the Constitution and Bill of Rights many times as I am a legal immigrant. I don't see anywhere that there is a right to have children. The Government has an absolute right to control who has children if they are expected to pay for it. The alternative to sterilising them, of course, is to cut them off from ALL public assistance of any kind if they get pregnant whilst on welfare. If you can pay for them and look after them you can have as many as you want, just don't expect the goverment, and by extension the taxpayer, to pay for it.
In the great State of South Carolina we have high schools that have day care facilities for the children of the STUDENTS!! How crazy is that? The teachers don't even get access to that day care facility. This waste of taxpayer money has to stop. If you don't put any money into the system via taxes, you should not be able to pull anything out.
I have no preference, either sterilise them or starve them, but it has to stop.
