Thus, this war will not see an end unless America revives the preemptive war strategy and start chasing the enemies and striking their bases in the region, especially in Syria and Iran.
Been saying that for years. But Bush refuses to lift a finger against Iran or Syria.

Glenn Reynolds and others were speculating that Iran has nukes and is silently blackmailing us. I can't figure out any other reason for not taking down Iran and Syria. Also, we should've done this stuff right after 9/11 instead of waiting for the war to drag on.
