I don't see why the French government is involved, they should be celebrating their "gorgeous mosaic". Sure the Muzzies have different customs, but what right do the French have to say their's is better, and then to maybe prosecute others just for their religious beliefs?

Making an exception for a woman's "time of the month" doesn't make sense in I Slam.Surely,allah and "the prophet" (pork chops be unto them) would demand that any such "unclean" woman be stoned to death in the mosque.

For information, Azzedine Gaci, president of the CRCM (Regional Council for the Muslim Religion), tries actually to open the first "Muslim school" (called Al Kindi) in France, near Lyon. The school should have open one month ago but the Rectorate blocks the project, officialy for administrative reasons.
Muslims organisations in favor of the school organised a manifestation a few days ago in front of the Rectorate. There were 60 persons... What a succes !

Yikes--that must have been horrible! What I'd like to know is; was she hurt? Were they little rocks that a few students threw, or big rocks that many students threw?
Not in any way am I trying to be an apologist, but as often happens in a translation, or just a regular news blurb, the headline is tantalizing, but the information is not very comprehensive, and I'd just like to know more. Thanks! :)
(I had some redneck students throw little rocks at me at lunch in 12th grade because I "looked like a lesbian,"---I had short hair--- and though it was horrible, I didn't need medical help or anything. . .on the other hand, if they were boulders like in the "Life of Brian" sketch. . .)
In ANY case, this is certainly a sick thing to have done (and would you believe, I am NOT shocked!)

It appears that the local Muslim council head is using this incident to call upon France to teach the Muslim religion in its schools. How do you say dhimmitude in French?
