Most conservatives who have taken a look at what is being taught about American history and values in our high schools and colleges are well aware of the horrendous brainwashing that is going on to teach our kids to hate America. I first encountered this as a college professor myself, amazingly at a Catholic college you would think would be espousing traditional American values. This was not the fault of that particular college, however, it was just that the professors they hired were products of Vietnam era education where something went so terribly wrong in our entire educational system, and what we have now is a cancer that has so embedded itself and has become so widespread it is almost unassailable.

I'm a senior in a public high school in a blue state. I've seen the ordeals of the modern education system right go on right in front of me for twelve years. I know all their plots, all their buzzwords, and I see right through 'em. One will notice that ever since the liberals took control of the educational system, the quality of American education has dropped dramatically, and we are now in last place of the top twenty industrialized nations in the world. That's solid proof that a leftist school system doesn't work. But I guess that's what the liberals want--they want us so dumbed-down and brainwashed by their antics that we can't stop them from going on, then disaster ensues--just like in Animal Farm, which is a reflection of what happened in the Soviet Union...
Your response helps to give me some hope that I'm not just banging my head against a wall. What gave you the information and the resolve to see through the propaganda and the distortions? At your age I would have had no idea. Fortunately I came through the public school system at a time when we were taught to be proud of our country.
Well some of the stuff I heard from them just seemed kinda weird and I took it with a grain of salt. I told my parents about it, and from what I learned in discussions with them, I was able to detect liberal lies and catch phrases when I heard them. I've had lots of practice with it though--I started in 7th grade.
