So it's quarter to eleven-ish in Tehran..I'm baffled by the 30 minute deal...weird..how can they do that? Magic? It's Iran. They're just weird. Completely bonkers. ;-)
I am gratified to see that the Iraqi Shiites who are around us are making fun of this. I ws afraid to joke about it in front of them, but found out they're not buying into it.
One of them told me he would get me the bootleg DVD of "World Trade Center" on Wednesday. I said "You mean if the world doesn't end what with Mahdi coming back and all..." and he cracked up.
Then he said that's actually supposed to happen tomorrow night.
