A silly and meaningless movie without a moral lesson to teach or any kind of lesson whatever. From the standpoint of content -- it has none.

Mo writes:

A silly and meaningless comment that assumes movies must have a moral lesson to teach.
From the standpoint of content -- Mo has no point. Entertainment is in the eye of the beholder.

"The truth about Love Letters, as I see it, is this: it is essentially a very silly and meaningless story -- by the mere fact that it revolves around so unnatural a thing as somebody's amnesia. No, it has no moral lesson to teach, nor any kind of lesson whatever. So, if you look at it from the standpoint of content -- it has none." --Ayn Rand, August 21, 1945
Maybe the performances are good.

"Have you seen it before?" No, and it looks like itll have to wait for another day. The playtime conflicts with the final So You Think You Can Dance episode, and my wife would body slam me if I didnt record it.

No, but I loved "The Fountainhead." I've read most of her books and love her philosophy of life.
"There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil." ~ Ayn Rand
"America's abundance was not created by public sacrifices to the common good, but by the productive genius of free men who pursued their own personal interests and the making of their own private fortunes." ~ Ayn Rand

"No one's happiness but my own is in my power to achieve or to destroy." ~ Ayn Rand
