the Temple Mount, known to Muslims as the Haram ash-Sharif or Noble Sanctuary, is a forbidden area for religious Jews to enter. This means that the large precinct including the Dome of the Rock, the first great achievement of Muslim architecture, and the al-Aqsa mosque, a stunningly-beautiful temple with colored stained-glass windows, is entirely under the control of an Islamic waqf or pious endowment. How would such a space need liberation and from what? Would Hezbollah prefer its transformation from its present serenity and privacy into a tourist attraction? (There is, by the way, no natural Shia constituency for Hezbollah among Israeli Arabs or Palestinians, among whom nearly all Muslims are Sunni.)
Islamic foundations administer numerous other holy places in Israel, including the tomb of the Prophet Samuel, which is considered worthy of honor by both Muslims and Jews. In my recent visit to Jerusalem, I went to Samuels tomb and offered a recitation in the mosque that stands as its main structure; I then proceeded to the synagogue and sarcophagus underground.
Israel has never acted against Muslims or Christians as people of religion. Yet Hezbollah told Pope John Paul II in 1997, This city that is holy in the Christian conscience, and that has always excited the zeal of the Christian peoples, is being emptied quietly and persistently as you know of the Arab presence, be it Muslim or Christian; that presence is being massively reduced through a systematic policy adopted against its representatives as individuals and institutions.
The lie thus compounds itself.

... begins with their name.
It means, "party of Allah." It should be written, "Hezb'Allah."
This "Hezbollah" stuff is meant to conceal the truth.
is anyone listening to FNC, Kavuto show right now, between this gal over there in israel and Shep...they are giving a hell of a heads up as to how many and where they are located moving across the border to the hezbullahs,,, if they are watching
and yes, I thought about the feeding of misinformation
Good story, but "Breaking News"?
Thank you, newgeezer, for helping to spread the word. I try to correct people whenever I hear it pronounced incorrectly, just to remind them that this is indeed a religious-based hate and terror organization.
Do you actually think that no one knows hezbullsh** members are worshipers of allah? How dumb do you think people are? The go into battle hiding behind civilians and screaming allah akbar, this should tell people something. I am well aware they are the "party of allah", and I don't have to be able to read arabic to know this.
To cut to the chase, most people don't know what the name means even if you spell it your way, but they do know what they are. It doesn't matter how you spell it, we know they are muslims and that they worship allah. We know they are murdering terrorists, spelling their name incorrectly, or correctly, won't change that. Personally I enjoy all the creative variations of the name that FReepers come up with, as well as the spellings for AminjihadJewkiller of Iran.
"No one"? Of course not. Don't be ridiculous.
How dumb do you think people are?
Have you already forgotten the 2004 and 2000 Presidential elections?
I'm absolutely certain that a lot of Joe Sixpacks out there figure the Hezbos are 'Palestinians' and are (justifiably) p*ssed because they were run out of their homeland by the Jews. Such people tend to get their news from the MSM and, thus, they're generally clueless about Hezb'Allah. Believe it or not, there are a LOT of people in that group.
That butcher propagandist: Arafat has started the lying trail, Muslims never were so "crazy" about Jewish Jerusalem.
Yep, it is apparent to anyone, with any rational brain power at all, that Iran has started the apocalypse. These frickin muslims have to be defeated dresden style and if they screw with US we should take out Mecca, end their evil-satanic religion and give Israel FULL sovereignty over the Templemount for the 3rd temple. End of story.
I like your style.
