Democrats sent money to Simon, staffed phone trees, even walked districts for Simon. Simon got the nomination and the republicans lost the statewide election
And the Democrats are pushing Joe Schwarz here in Michigan but I'm hopefull that it won't work because there are less than 6 GOP candidates in the race this time.

There are plenty of third-party voters who are nothing but immature and uninformed, so there's nothing that differentiates them from more "mainstream" voters. An uninformed voter is dangerous, period, even if they're voting Green. But, I thought the whole point of "moter voter" et. al. was that uninformed voters tend to vote Democrat?
