Why not just let them have her and let them take care of her?
There seems to be only one conclusion to come to here. He didn't want her to recover.

I hope all the moron FReepers who took this grave-dancing ghoul's side realize now exactly who they were backing.

Somehow, I missed that piece of info. I don't know how they thought that taking care of her would be any easier, more than 10 years later. by themselves, at their home.
Presumably, if she had not been starved to death and if Michael had allowed Terri's parents to have "custody" of here, she would have stayed in the medical facility she was already in.

/checked out the thread, think its locked so I'll cross post here instead One person gets it: You need to change your diary title. I don't see any of them celebrating. They are justifying it, but not celebrating. As it is, the title is incorrect. The reason he has distorted this is so that he can feel justifed in calling for Freepers to be stalked & outed. Nice crew you got over there.

The most likely is that she expressed to him (probably more than once) in a sincere moment in their marriage that she did not want to become a vegetable. And he fought as hard as he could to honor her wishes. Too bad it wasn't in writing, this would have been over long, long ago.

Well, thats just the point. It was only his word. He doesn't seem like a very nice fellow, either.

Hey, bcsco; I followed this story quite carefully. IMHO, MS was NEVER about helping Terri. He either contributed to her original injury or had some weird revenge motive vis-a-vis her parents. There were numerous nurses who testified to his withholding helpful therapy, the lawyer (Felos) was a truly creepy guy who claimed to communicate with disabled babies and the judge was completely biased. MS should have been put in jail. Check it out, there were numerous FR threads on it.

Hey P-J bad news, Connecticut is almost as leftist as Mass. is. So I wouldn't be surprised if this helps Lamont's campaign. I only hope it won't. I mean you've gotta remember this is the state that has elected officials acting like Commisars in the former Soviet Union with their eminent domain philosophies.

After reading those freepers' comments, I am just speechless. Make no mistake, these radical beasts including Hezbollah and freepers are the enemies we're dealing with. They have no souls. They need to be defeated for the decency of humanity. LOL.. the cheerleaders for terrorists are now trying to switch sides and switch our sides too.
ha!

Mr Schiavo - After so many years of battling with the legal system, I'm amazed that you have it in you to keep fighting for justice. He's full of SOMETHING, but it's not justice....

That's pretty funny. I really love the poll at the end. I know....75 WHOLE votes, too.
BTW, KOmmies, I AGREE with the comments of the freepers, and if you want my name AND address, just ask for it. I'm not afraid of you or your KOmmie KOusins...
Just remember, I'm not the only one in this house that owns a gun, and "she who must be obeyed" is a better shot than I am...
and has a lot less patience...

We didn't follow it that closely (this all came down before my joining FR so we wasn't able to follow other than on Fox News), but eventually got the same impression about him. As I stated, it was his parents who prevented us from supporting him. If they were willing to take care of her then what was the big deal with him? That stunk to high heaven. Then I do recall Fox reporting things that made us wonder about his motives. There was just too much smoke there not to be a fire.
