Maybe I should start a Freeper group for Handy Pack wearers where we could meet and share war stories about being mocked for being PRACTICAL.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

I seetwo problems with this: First, I don't think there is any way for us tofairly determine who would qualify to participate in the group. font color="red">Gee, I dunno. Bragging about talent or giftedness seems arrogant. Generally, it doesn't take much to demonstrate one's talent, but to announce it seems a little, uhh...gauche? Something tells me that this comment is going to fall on deaf, gifted DUmmie ears.
It's not only that they want to brag about their imagined brilliance. They are pretending that they have unfairly been cast out from society and therefore are victims. DUmmies can't exist without believing they are victims. Looks like someone may have finally come to the conclusion that the elections weren't stolen after all.

STILL no use of caps or punctuation used by some of these supposedly gifted people. Heck, some can't even focus long enough to use a space bar.

What nutballs!
I'm surprised Skinner took it down. It fits in so many ways with the rest of DU.
To: PJ-Comix
HEY! I'm gifted. I have a wonderful wife that loves me despite all the time I spend hanging out on FR and even more so on DU. And despite all my other weirdnesses, and I'm the first to admit to them.
If that's not a gift, what is?

Don't worry about it PJ. I'm at the point in life where I use my Mother Earth News tote bag as a briefcase. It's handier and will carry stuff that would tear up the brief case I use when I want to impress.

mission statement- talented and gifted individuals group
They already have a group. It's called Mensa.
There is a REASON those guys have their own group, and it has far less to do with their superiority or sense thereof than with the fact that they have (as a group) zero social skills and regular people can't put up with their weirdness.

[How about issuing "I'm Gifted" T-Shirts?] The "Norms" can wear "I'm With Gifted" T-Shirts.

The "gifted" apparently never learned capitalization. Usually, "gifted" people don't have to talk about it; they DO something with it.

"Handy packs" are great at places like the state fair or amusement parks where carrying a purse is too impracticle and putting things in your pockets isn't smart because you're hanging upside down alot.
But then, I'm a chick, so what do I know about mens fashion.

Generally, it doesn't take much to demonstrate one's talent, but to announce it seems a little, uhh...gauche? Bingo. Intelligence is demonstrable. If you have it, you don't need to announce it. This sounds more like a victim's support group for people who think they are "misunderstood" because of their "intelligence".
Keep flailing at the Wind.
