This is a great find.

This bit bugged me somewhat:

I do think that it was a waste look at all the families and soldiers that have lost loved ones over something that the government cant even prove. maybe it was Iraq that started 9-11 but how can you prove that they werent working for some other country.

It's not that one can't disagree, especially since he served. It's just that his reasoning is a bit odd.

It bothers me that we see no mention of the percentages of pros and cons. These letters were just alternating for and against to give the impression that the military is equally divided. We have no way of knowing the true consensus of our troops.

FWIW, troops and consensus don't really belong in the same sentence (just MHO).
