Revolution the only realistic choice. Not with guns or protests in the streets, but by banding together the progressive states and forming a new country free of religious bigotry. Leave Jesusland to the Falwell Fundies (Bush can be president for life). Are the DUmmies aware that most of the missile silos are in red states? :)

or in the movie V for Vendetta. They put soldiers in the position of deciding whether to kill their family and neighbors, or side with them, and they chose correctly.Anyone looking for a reason why the dummies are doomed again need only look at that "logic"--they did it in a movie, so it'll work out just fine in real life.
I mean, this is a new low of ignorance even for them, but perfectly in keeping with their "wish hard enough, don't worry about thinking or working, and it'll happen!" philosophy.

Never EVER post Bluto's
Animal House rant about the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor.
You'll be given a history lesson you'll never forget -- especially on large threads, where you'll get the same post from several posters that don't read all previous posts....

Where does the Karl Rove weather machine come into play here?
Color me confused. I know it has SOME part to play.
Ssshhhhh! He's been using BOTH of them lately! Resistance is futile. Confusion is the intended effect!

By fall of 2004, it was not only obvious Bush lied about the reasons he invaded Iraq, but the real reasons could have easily been pointed out since he gave the oil concessions in Iraq to his cronies who were screwing us at the pump....
Army contract for Feinstein's husband
Blum is a director of firm that will get up to $600 million
Fron SFGate:
Tuesday, April 22, 2003
URS Corp., a San Francisco planning and engineering firm partially owned by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein's husband, landed an Army contract Monday worth up to $600 million.
The award to help with troop mobilization, weapons systems training and anti-terrorism efforts is the latest in a string of plum defense jobs snared by URS. In February, the firm won an army engineering and logistics contract that could bring in $3.1 billion during the next eight years.

Kerry essentially made the election close enough for Bush to steal by not being blunter about the war and critical of Bush to his face when he had a chance during the debates and couldn't be edited to pieces by Fox News.John F'n Kerry's problem during the debates wasn't President Bush's "lies" or whatever. He problem was he never nailed down a position on ANY topic. His answer basicly reflected whatever the people wanted to hear.
In other words, he showed NO LEADERSHIP, NO POSITION, and NO GUTS!!!

"Well... okay... but: Superman II was ten years earlier than that, f'cryin' out loud. :)"Neither of us have ever been fans of sci-fi (which is how I'd categorize Superman II). Westerns, war movies, mystery & musicals are my fare. And I agree with you on the death of musicals. As for The Quick And The Dead...well, let's leave it at that. The recent Western you didn't mention that merits attention is Open Range. Kostner & Duvall did fine work in it. Now, Duvall has another out - I forget the name - but I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's out on DVD.

They're more philosophy and less economics than his other works. Conflict can be especially tough; it's mighty heavy on the abstract side.

If the Dummies actually revolt and try to form a new country, does that mean I can shoot them? It seems to me the last attempt at civil war was a shooting conflict.
