Michelle Malkin rips the Dixie Chicks a whole new one.(h/t MuscleHead) I had not heard the remark that Natalie Maines made in the London Telegraph, but apparently this chick never learns.
"A lot of pandering started going on, and you'd see soldiers and the American flag in every video. It became a sickening display of ultra-patriotism."
"The entire country may disagree with me, but I don't understand the necessity for patriotism," Maines resumes, through gritted teeth. "Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country... I don't see why people care about patriotism."
This time instead of insulting the President she insults all patriotic Americans of any political stripe - a s t o u n d i n g!

"Ultra-patriotism"? Is that like being 'ultra-pregnant'?

Every time she opens her mouth she further reveals the depth of her idiocy. When will the other two dump her?

I don't suppose the fool will have to worry about patriotism. Or record sales. Or concert sales. Or any respect from actual Americans.

This time instead of insulting the President she insults all patriotic Americans of any political stripe You got it wrong. At the end of the London concert she repeated the insult to the President. She said: "Well can't do much harm in repeating myself, just so you know, we are ashamed of the President of the United States."
So you should have said: "This time in addition to insulting the President she insults all patriotic Americans of any political stripe."

I suppose when your ego far exceeds the width, depth, and height of the boundaries of such a small nation as the USA, then I suppose patriotism could seem relatively unimportant. What is applicable here is what is called the inverse narcistic ratio. Substance unseen is in inverse relation to the degree of mouth shown.

BTW, I agree - she is an ugly troll.
