The liberal moron speaks again. Like all liberals, they are upset that THEY are not the ones spending the country into indebted oblivion. Someone should remind them that their minions in the Congress supported the Iraq war...how quickly they forget for the sake of having something, anything, to complain about. Their sole mission.

The analogy is false. We're not trying to "hold on" to this "colony". We're trying desperately to get them to stand on their own feet so we can safely leave.

Why didn't they think there wasn't going to be a resistance?" Fuzzy grammar can indicate fuzzy thinking.

I've run out of adjectives to describe Matty's thinking- he is completely stuck and incapable of listening to ideas other than his own.

Matthews: U.S. in Iraq No Better Than 'Colonial Masters'What a coincidence. I find Chris Matthews no better than a hemorrhoid.

"Every Third World country, in Africa, Asia, Latin America, has thrown off its colonial masters, because they don't want outsiders telling them what to do." Most of the colonial masters left voluntarily after WWII because they couldn't afford the upkeep on their empires anymore. Like the British in India and Africa, the massacres, ethnic cleansing and economic exploitation started after the Brits left, not before.
But none of this applies to Iraq, except the fact that after we leave, the massacres will begin in earnest.

Funny how Matthews never bothered to mention our "colonial" involvement in Bosnia and Haiti.
Simply amazing
