No doubt. And yet he will never come nearer to that goal than being peripheral to any "thing" of real importance. He hoped to join Kerry's major league team in '04 and bask in the glow of a legitimate contender drawing national attention, but he ended up being dumped from Kucinich's pathetic campaign which was doomed to obscurity and failure from the get-go. How humiliating was that for someone who claims to be in the inner circle of the Democrat party's elite? Kucinich can't even see that inner circle from his viewpoint, and even he couldn't put up with Pitt for long.
Pitt's dismal station in life would be almost sad if he wasn't such an insufferable, name dropping, self aggrandizing twit with a penchant for grossly pompous verbosity, binge drinking, and apparently for molesting pubescent schoolgirls. But then if his situation was really sad it wouldn't be a prime source of grist for yours and PJ's comedic mill. It all works out rather nicely doesn't it?
Bravo Charles, that's a classic for the ages. I copied it on paper for posterity btw. South Pacific was one of my all time favorite musicals, although I only saw the film version starring Rossano Brazzi (sp?) and Mitzy Gaynor instead of the original Broadway version with Ezio Pinza and Mary Martin.
Somewhere tonight in the hereafter world Oscar Hammerstein is turning green with envy in his grave, and Ezio Pinza is practicing your immortal lyrics for a stage revival of South Pacific. I predict a ghostly Broadway smash hit all over again. I just hope your ethereal royalty checks don't bounce.

Yeah, it's hard not to miss the good old days with Pitt frothing at the mouth, threatening to do come after one of us. I'm still waiting...but that would require him to pick himself up off the bar stool. Guess he can stand up to a mountain but not a little ole girl!

The DUmmies are acting like Pitt is their personal Vicodin. They will get withdrawal symptoms without his bloviations.
Watch for Pitt, over the next couple of years, to strive ever more DESPERATELY to become a member of Kerry's campaign team. And the FUnniest thing is that Kerry will be CRUSHED under by Hillary (or Gore) early in the Primary season so Pitt is trying to board a ship doomed to sink.

Somebody on my Blog page posted that maybe Pitt is under orders from his lawyer to clam up for the near future. Could some sort of legal action against Pitt be in the workds? Hmmmm.....
