BILL O'REILLY, HOST: Two Duke lacrosse players have been arrested and charged with rape among other violent crimes. They are free on $400,000 bail. As you may know, the students attended a party where a stripper hired by the lacrosse team said she was raped. With us now civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton. Is this a racial issue? REV. AL SHARPTON, CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST: I think that there are certainly a lot of racial factors. Whether it is directly in the case, we'll see, because some reports said that there was racial language used. But I think that when you look at the racial atmosphere, when you look at the fact that there again were the allegations of racial statements, when you look at a lot of people feeling that they have been treated differently, where this girl has basically had a character charged in the media, there is a lot of racism that's in the air. Having said that, I commend a lot of the blacks and whites who stood vigil and to come together in that community to stand up for this girl. So I think in the midst of this, there is some good. ...SHARPTON: This case parallels Abner Louima, who was raped and sodomized in a bathroom like this girl has alleged she was. That's the case and just like in the Louima case, you have people here saying she fabricated it. They said he fabricated it two guys in jail right now for that.

I know the article is a little old, but it still seems relevant, especially after the dad's broomstick accusation now.
Hey Al........remember Tawana Brawley, you scumbag.
Big Al has been trying to forget Tawana for years...next!!
This is racial
From another story, "Many residents in New York City are unhappy with the disposition of the killing of a white New York University student by four black youths who chased him into oncoming traffic resulting in the student's death. First, the New York City Police Department refused to charges the four perpetrators with a bias crime. A spokesperson with the NYPD claimed the killing was not racially motivated even though one of the suspects was heard screaming "get the white boy!" The NYPD spokesperson said the case was being treated as a robbery, not a hate crime. "Black Teen Killers of White NYU Student to Go to Family Court
This is not racial? Come on Al be consistent. Granted Al isn't quoted in the second instance, but why is one racial and the other not? Al you are a big, fat race-baiting huckster.
: )
Did the Rearend Sharpton ever pay off the money he was supposed to pay after the Brawley Case to Pagones(sp?)?? I thought it funny that a man who claimed someone else own his clothes was able to run for President.
:) He was sued for non payment, and finally paid.
That O'Reilly would give a camera and a microphone to Sharpton tells me all I need to know about O'Reilly.
O'rielly didn't mention Tawana Brawley the whole show?
Sharpton had some rather heavy involvement in that case, and there could be some parallels if the case proves bogus.
Any time the broomstick comes up, these idiots (Al, the dad, etc.) need to be asked "Why wasn't there any mention of a broomstick on the initial search warrent? Surely if she was aware enough to supposedly identify three people, she was aware enough to identify a broomstick being used on her."

This whole prosecution is a complete joke.
I feel sick about the whole thing. We have gone from institutionalized racism against blacks to the same, but against whites now. All in my lifetime. Both are evil.
Its time for Al to apologize to the Duke Players and resign from his job of (whatever his job is). These players got much more than their feelings hurt like the Rutgers ladies. They were criminally charged. They lost their season. Some had to leave school. The coach quit. Direct parrallel to the Rutgers case.
