DUmmie FUnnies 04-13-06 ("Kennedy gave a barn-burner at the immigration rally yesterday")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | April 13, 2006 | Ted Kennedy, DUmmies, and PJ-Comix

Posted on 04/13/2006 6:55:31 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

Look at him. It is a bloated Ted Kennedy with Demagoguery written all over his booze mottled bloated face. And one of the most demagogic speeches EVER given by a U.S. Sentator was delivered by The Swimmer on the subject of illegal immigration. Of couse his demagoguery is the reason why the DUmmies admire him as you can see in this THREAD titled, "Kennedy gave a barn-burner at the immigration rally yesterday." Whenever you hear a DUmmie describe a speech as being a "barn-burner" then you know it is off the scale of sanity. So let us now read of the low-lights of Kennedy's "barn-burner" in Bolshevik Red as the commentary of your humble correspondent, watching the proceedings with face mask and snorkle, is in the [brackets]:

Kennedy gave a barn-burner at the immigration rally yesterday

[He's certainly known for burning his bridges behind him.]

As a huge added bonus, hooking McCain into this plan will enrage the Republican base, piling onto their growing discord. Teddy still has it going on.

[As an added bonus, Kennedy DOOMED the chances of McCain getting the Republican nomination by tying him in with the demagogic Kennedy. I never thought I would say this but thank you, Teddy.]

Some excerpts-

[Stand by for an overdose of Demagogery!]

Let me ask you some questions. Are you ready? (Estas listo?)

[Si. Estoy listo para un viaje sobre el puente.]

Do you have a job? (Tienes trabajo?)

[Si. Soy una trabajadora para un senador borracho.]

Do you love your family? (Amas a su familia?)

[Amas a las trabajodoras en su campaña?]

Do you love your community? (Amas a su comunidad?)

[Amas a su camarera con el especial sandwich?]

Do you love America? (Amas a America?)

[Amas a Chappaquiddick?]

They say you should report to deport. I say report to become American citizens.

[Please take a number to stand in the AMNESTY line.]

More than four decades ago, near this place, Martin Luther King called on the nation to let freedom ring. Freedom did ring -- and freedom can ring again.

[That ringing in your ears is the result of your latest hangover.]

It is time for Americans to lift their voices now -- in pride for our immigrant past and in pride for our immigrant future.

[It is time for a certain Senator to lift their dresses now...]

We stand for the future. (Nosotros apoyamos el futuro.)

[Nosotros apoyamos el Jim Beam.]

We stand for our families. (Nosotros apoyamos nuestras familias.)

[Nostotros apoyamos nuestras familias...hasta la anulacion.]

We stand for our faith. (Nosotros apoyamos nuestra fe.)

[Nostotros apoyamos nuestra fe excepto en casos donde la fe es contra la aborcion.]

I stand with you. And you and you and you and you.

[I stand with her. And her and her and her and her.]

Are you with me? (Estan conmigo?)

[Estan conmigo en el viaje sobre el puente?]

John McCain and I have a plan. It is a strong plan. It is a fair plan. It is a plan for America's future.

[Thanx for pulling McCain down with you and drowning his chances of ever getting the Republican nomination.]

And today we are making that future happen.

[Except for McCain. You just drowned out his future as a Republican nominee.]

Will you support us? (Me apoyan?)

Will you support us? (Me apoyan?)

Will you support us? (Me apoyan?)

[No! No! No!]

Well, I'm here today to say that we will support you, too. (Nosotros vamos a apoyar a ustedes tambien.)

[Donde esta la cerveza? Tengo sed. Y, por favor, incluye una muchacha con la cerveza.]

We will never give up. We will never give in.

[You sure gave up quick at a certain bridge in Chappaquiddick.]

Hasta la Victoria!

[Hasta la Derrota!]

Si se puede!

[Salga si puede!]

I saw and heard him speak, and let me just say the crowd was going nuts! All I could think when I heard his speech and the crowd's reaction was "wow, the GOP just lost the latino vote for decades to come."

[All I could think when I heard his speech was "wow, Kennedy just lost his mind for years to come."]

¡Si, se Puede! ¡Viva la Revolución! ¡Viva la Libertad!

[Key phrase: ¡Viva la Revolución!]

Sigh. I love him.

[Then go on a Waterwold Honeymoon with Teddy.]

Except the plan is ridiculous! How are they going to force anyone to sign up? These immigrants are not going to line up and get visas and I see relatively little to encourage employers to get them to. There is vague talk of enhanced sanctions or fines. Big whoop. I love Kennedy but this is all empty rhetoric!

[And this DUmmie wins a Teddy Bare Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity!]

I agree, why would anyone sign up for a visa and pay a $2000 plus fine to stay 6 more years when they are already here? All I see here is a door for 400,000 more illegals to enter the country each year favoring Mexico and why a $500 fee, I thought these people were already destitute. How about giving American citizens some money to relocate from a jobless area to where we supposedly have these labor shortages? I don't see any penalties for the employers just BS about substantial penalties. What about the unemployed person in Appalachia that doesn't have the money to move his family to California for these jobs?

[You're making too much sense. Prepare for your tombstoning.]

This post illustrates the exact problem. These immigrants don't want to assimilate with US. They want us to assimilate with THEM. There's no reason any candidate should be going around speaking Spanish. Do they speak Irish to me? German to the Germans? Polish to the Poles? No, because all our ancestors came here (gasp!) legally and put some effort into learning the language and becoming Americans. So long as they keep trying to force Mexico down our throats, the majority of Americans will continue to be against them. I welcome legal immigrants from any country. But when you come here illegally and forge documents to stay here--sorry, but those are two pretty big crimes, and your butts oughta be shipped back to where you came from (whether it's Mexico or anywhere else).

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

English only chauvinism is always amusing. And always chauvinism.

[Viva La Revolucion! Viva los Chavistas! Viva Castro!]

If they think English-only chauvinism is amusing, they'll be splitting their sides when Spanish-only chauvinism is instituted.

"Will you support us? (Me apoyan?)"

How can an illegal alien support a politician? They can't vote yet can they?

btw - most of the crowd just cheered when others did. I was down there. The sound system was so bad, I couldn't hear a blessed thing. Everyone was talking to each other. No one was paying attention. People would start cheering, and everyone else would join them.

The speakers were meaningless.

Ted Kennedy doesn't even have to speak to be meaningless.

I watched Kennedy's speech on TV.

It was nothing but shameless pandering on his part.

Some DU people were only complaining about illegals because they know Bush is responsible for letting millions of them in and is still running the show.

They wouldn't have had any negative comments if a 'rat was president.

Unless they were FReeper trolls.

Oh I wouldn't say that. Too many who call themselves "conservatives" will support him, believing that he is the only one that can beat Hillary. To them, power is more important than conservative principles.
