There are a few dozen nutjobs like this one in every community, but the insane have always been with us. I don't even have to consult with Mom on that one...

The funniest part of the rant, however, is the juvenile use of the word "fascist"; as in the word "gay", they keep hoping that repetition will redefine the word. Unfortunately, the word is used legitimately often enough to make this impossible.
Speaking of gay, I wonder how Stevie's mum feels about that... ?

Is this before or after he brings back the draft?

Wait... I think you've just hit on it... this is why the DUmmies have been so confused over the "draft" issue. Ok... get your tin-foil adjusted, because here we go:

The war-mongering Chimpus Khan, after committing troops to Afghanistan and Iraq, faced a tough dilemma. The army was stretched "too thin", as we've heard countless military experts testify on trusted news sources like MSNBC, CNN. and Air America. The obvious course of action would be to reinstitute the draft to bolster the numbers. [After all, in the socialist mindset, people are simply replaceable cogs in the machines -- quantity is an acceptable substitute for quality.]

However, the grand fascist takeover scheme would be threatened by a miltary that was not overwhelming predisposed to wanton violence and destruction [i.e., how the DUmmies see the miltary, for all of their phoney "I support the troops" statements, when they can be bothered to make them]. The draft would tip the army balance of power, and put people opposed to the BFEE junta in a position to do something about it. So, therefore, no draft.

Enter John Conyers... he senses what is up and introduces a bill to reinstate the draft as a check to the neocon takeover. But, sensing that America is not ready to accept the truth, eventually winds up voting against his own proposal.

It all fits so... perfectly when seen in the "correct" light.

It's been said again and again.....

.....but I might as well say it once more.

Every time one thinks it is impossible for the DUmmies to descend any further in their cluelessness and stupidity, well.....they do it.

The DUmmies never disappoint.

But surely there is a subterranean "floor" to how low they can go.

Is Christian fundamentalism a significant factor in the high echelons of the military? Is "echelons" the right word? Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything much scarier than Christian Dominionist types at command level.

Ahhh... the DUmmie boogeyman surfaces. They are looking under the bed and in their closet for those Christian fundies. You can spot a DUmmie in public, as they are always looking over their shoulder for the 'fundie' thats gonna get them.

"...they are too cowardly to defend the constitution."

"They are incompetent to their sworn purpose, what good is an army like that."

That's a keeper. I'd pay to have that tatooed to the DA's forehead.

Think again. These people are so delusional that I think they would be capable of commiting mass suicide with purple cloth over their faces and Birkenstocks on their feet, hoping to hitch a ride on the next comet that swings by.

Listen. I've read and posted to DU for a long time. Those idiots can contradict themselves in the same sentence and think they've made an irrefutable argument that really puts the redneck yahoo bigoted racist fascist NASCAR loving Southern Christian white males, who are the only people stupid enough to be on FR, in their place. Which is admiring the sheer poetic and logical genius of the DUmmies. And, of course, realizing that they should vote their economic interests (as defined by the DUmmies) instead of those pesky social issues.

Nice theory, but I'm not buying it until you explain the roles of Halliburton, Diebold and Walmart in the grand scheme.

Brainwashed GIs. Most in the military hate libruls and the media. Most watch only FAUXNEWZ and listen only to Der Ruschkopf. We wouldn't stand a chance.

Oh, little DUmmie, it's much worse than that for you. Some in the military, even some officers (such as yours truly)...are FReepers! Sleep well.

BUWAHAHAHA!!!

Would the military intervene to save us?

Why, you hate them and expect them to do your bidding? Get real.

Actually, I was "hoping" the military would do it without Bush

You assume that the military are like the goons in third world countries. Guess what sunshine, they aren't. After 22 years I couldn't find a military dictator in the making. Also most folks I know would call you a ignorant twit.

I'm not advocating violence either, I just want to know what the military's protocol is for a government out of control.

Read the Constitution instead of trying to use it to roll your own.

Hypothetical: Troops take over White House, hand power to ... a joint Dem/Repug. task force. Not the entire country.

Did you forget to take your meds? or your preparation H? Your Hemorrhoids is beginning to effect your Brain.

i was discussing this with my mom yesterday and I was saying how I dont think Bu$h is going anywhere in 2008. He's gonna suspend the constitution (probably after some catastrophic "torrirsit" attack) and the elections wont take place. These people are simply too cocky. They KNOW they're not going anywhere. Anyway, my mom said that if something like that were to occur, the military would step in a put an end to it. I dont know whether they'd do this or not.

And then mom said, "Honey, it's time to take your meds" after which she called his psychiatrist and lamented, "Doctor, my son is having hallucinations again...can we have him comitted to the psycho-ward?"

because "they don't read twenty newspapers a day"

Yes, I've heard this clip on Laura Ingraham.

How many newspapers does a couple hours scanning articles on FR add up to?
