France has an unassimilated group of foreigners who don’t respect the country’s laws, don’t appreciate its culture and don’t care about fitting in. So do we.
France has an unassimilated group of foreigners that likes to riot. So do we.
And France has various groups that like to go on nationwide strikes, trying to bring the country to its knees.
Hispanic groups in the U.S. are planning a major boycott of American life dubbed a day without Latinos to protest proposed legislation that would criminalize illegal immigration.
Mexican American Political Association (MAPA) President Nativo Lopez, one of the organizers of the recent protests in Los Angeles that saw at least 500,000 people take to the streets, said the May 1 “day without Latinos” would send a stern message to Washington.
“We are looking forward to a major action in all large U.S. cities where immigrants make up a significant proportion of the workforce,” Lopez told Agence France-Presse.
“We are asking people not to go to school, or work, or shopping, and instead to go out and protest against the racist and inhumane measures in this bill.”
That’ll send a message, sure enough. The message is: We will mess with you until you do as we say with your laws in your country that we entered and squatted in illegally.
The French tend not to respond to provocations like this with much vigor. It will be interesting to see how Americans respond.
UPDATE: Some Americans have already reacted with a zesty salsa flavored dhimmitude:
Reagan High School Principal Robert Pambello was ordered to remove a Mexican flag Wednesday morning that he had hoisted below the U.S. and Texas flags that typically fly in front of his school a symbol he agreed to fly to show support for his predominantly Hispanic student body.
”…agreed to fly…”? I’d love to know how that agreement was reached, and with whom. Here’s a clue:
Some Reagan students said they will try to raise a Mexican flag again today. They said they want it to fly at least above the Texas flag on the pole.
Above the Texas flag? I don’t think so. We fought that war once, and won. We do remember the Alamo, amigos.
I would take our Mexican Immigrants over those lazy commie France youth and their islamo-fascist immigrants any day of the week.
But our white chicks shave their pits, so we got that going for us, which is nice.
Not all of them! Take a good look at an anti-war rally!! LOL
The same day the checks are passed out.
I don't see that working out for them.

( PS- my personal prediction? That picture will become one of the most widely distributed, and hated, pictures on the internet. The Illegal Invader lobby could not have done more damage to themselves with that "Mexican Flag Superior, America in Distress" shot if they had tried... )
