I won't let myself watch tv news except for the Daily Show..come to think of it I do "yell and scream" whenever Jon has on some fascist spewing idiot or the idiot-in-chief clips. It's a good thing I stopped drinking alcohol in 2002! I have observed a large number of lefties who make the same statement. How in the world could anyone think that this is a 'news show'. If you post at the DUmp and this is your only news source, how demented are you, really?

My middle finger automatically goes up whenever I hear clips of him on the radio; I mute the tv and give the same salute while trying to stifle the urge to . I've taught my kids to say "Bush**" if they want to utter anything that wouldn't be appropriate for someone their ages to say. I drink a beer or two or a glass of wine every night before I go to bed whereas I didn't drink much at all for a couple of decades! During one of the SOTU addresses my kids and I were throwing petzels at the tv every time that he smirked, told a blatant lie, etc., and during the first 10 mins. we had to adjust our parameters because we had a large pile of pretzel pieces in the floor and were afraid it was going to get totally out of hand! Thanks for giving it a name besides just feeling Bush**whacked! This person is truly sick. Please seek professional help.

Liberals really are a sick bunch of puppies!
I have yet to meet one that is normal...they want to run everyone else's lives, but they can't even get control of their own...a bunch of medicated, paranoid loons.
Every single lib that I have met is socially backwards and extremely immature (even the educated ones...I know a big lib lawyer/engineer couple and even they act like teens)....I suspect that they were all picked on geeks during high school and they are trying to "fix" those teen years....truly amazing and explains their love for juvenile, frat boy BJ Clinton.
I often wonder...which came first the liberalism or the mental illness? Does liberalism make one petty, small and immature or does the immaturity make one gravitate toward liberalism?

BTW, PJ, I watched South Park last night for the first time in a couple of years. It was hilarious! I don't know if it was a new episode or a repeat, but judging from the content (liberals being smug because they're driving hybrid cars, causing smug clouds which collect over South Park and San Francisco and collide with a smug cloud from George Clooney's Oscar acceptance speech), it has to be pretty new. South Park is one of the few TV shows to IMPROVE with time. What happened is that after the first couple of seasons of SP, they sort of ran out of shock material. That's when I quit watching it. Then Parker and Stone switched gears and went after all things PC and suddenly it IMPROVED 100%. An example was last night's show featuring the George Clooney Smug Cloud blabbering his self-satisfied SMUG Oscar speech. BTW, I like how they highlighted how smug liberals close their eyes when in a state of self-satisfied smugness.

? Do you yell and scream at the television whenever President Bush gives a speech? ? Has your use of profanity increased dramatically over the past five years? ? Have you made up new curse words because the old ones just don't cut it anymore? Sounds like the application questionnaire for joining DU. Or becoming Chairman of the DNC.

Don't forget the part about liberals being so smug, they enjoy smelling their own farts.

Ah Ha! Stinky the Clown only gets his news from The Comedy Channel, it's all beginning to come together for me now. I finally understand how these people became detached from reality.
That's not the news Stinky, those are mostly psychotic individuals up there ranting. You need to switch over to Fox and you will begin to feel better.

What you state of liberals in positions of authority is true, however it does not negate my opinion that there isn't a mental illness. My statement that "Their whole focus in on their own needs and wants" fits with your assessment. It also fits with an assessment of a psychosis.
These people are hungry for power because power provides the self esteem and ego satisfaction they crave. They are not selfless. Any anyone who believes that they alone have the the ability and the right to dictate to others how they shall live and exist are, IMHO disturbed.
Indeed, there are many who fall for such garbage (see my tagline). Much of that has to do with today's educational environment. And these people are happily used by the left for their own subversive purposes. Sorry, but that is as disgusting as it is deranged.
BTW, welcome to Free Republic. Being somewhat new here myself, I know how nice it is to find welcoming fellow FreePers.
