HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Haleigh Poutre's birth mother is expected to file a court motion seeking more of a say in her daughter's medical care.

Allison Avrett plans to appear in Holyoke Juvenile Court on Wednesday.

Haleigh, 12, has been hospitalized since police say her adoptive mother and stepfather severely beat her in September.

About a week after taking custody of the Westfield girl in September, the Department of Social Services sought permission to remove her from life support.

I'm siding with T'wit on this one. Michael asked the court's permission because it wasn't legal to do it when he first sought to remove it. Until then, the court was not involved. Michael is the one who initiated the legal proceedings. At least this is how I look at it.

I guess we are just discussing a technicality over the word 'lawsuit'. What would the correct term be in this case, Petition the Court? If lawsuit means to sue someone, who did he sue, initially?

Oh, I don't know any of the legal jargon. All I'm saying is that in my eyes, Michael was the one who got things started with the court getting involved. I thought that's what was being discussed. It's very possible I misunderstood. I've heard lots of complaints that the Schindlers were the ones who got the court involved in this, but that's not true at all. At least not IMHO.

www.judgegeorgegreer.com got The Ben Franklin Award today at the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club. He is doing standup comedy now and since the crowd was full of fellow human traffickers, they laughed every time he got to another punchline. Q & A: Judge Greer is lower than an idiot. Question: Why does our society treat animals better than people, i.e. The Humane Society. Greer Answer: "Because animals can't talk." Animals don't have "choice" so they are protected. That's what he said. This got uproarious laughter too. (we know that Terri had no choice, less protections than if she were an animal as described by Thug Greer.)

Gee, Judge Thug, after you ripped Terri's rehab monies off and cut off her speech therapy, she tried to talk but couldn't talk after years of neglect but she tried really hard to say "I want to live" right before the g-tube came out and the barbaric murder began. So, Terri was an animal or not an animal? Greer's thinking is so twisted and he loves having the crowd in his hand. HE thinks he's a comic. Greer couldn't have been inhumane to her if she would have been other than a human being.

Who's the animal? It's george greer and the sooner he's caged in a federal prison, the better.

I think they were complaining that government got involved, mostly. Of course, the judicial branch is the 3rd branch of government that always steps on the other two branches. Sandra Day O'Connor would like to keep that way too.

Greer is the 'law'. The law or laws never said that Terri had to die, only Greer who is the law said so.
