The Official Death of the Theory of Evolution 2/25/2006
Theorem Name: The Illusion of Evolution DOA Theorem
Theorem: There are not enough reproductive life cycle generations available in the projected age of the Universe to allow even the most basic form of evolution.
Note: This Theorem looks at the Theory of Evolution from a completely abstract point of view. The formulas and discussion are presented from an Evolutionist point of view. This doesnt necessarily represent the view of the author.
AoU age of the Universe. (1)
AvRpdCyc - average reproductive life cycle generation (2)(3)
TotalRpdCyc total reproductive cycles in the age of the Universe.
AoU = 10 billion = 10,000,000,000 years
AvRpdCyc = 100 per year (2)(3)
TotalRpdCyc = AoU * AvRpdCyc = 1,000,000,000,000 = 1 Trillion
In the whole age of the Universe, there are only about 1 Trillion opportunities for something to evolve to a different state eventually Man. (this is very generous)(3)
MM - Mega Millions Jackpot Odds
MM = 175,711,536
TotalRpdCyc / MM = 1,000,000,000,000/175,711,536 = 5,691
In order to believe the Theory of Evolution, you have to believe the odds of going from Rock to Man are only 5,691 times greater than winning the Mega Millions Jackpot.
- This doesnt take into consideration; no one has ever seen a rock do it.
- This doesnt take into account; the Human Body consists of 10 Trillion individual cells.
- We havent considered the complexity of the Human Body.
- We havent considered the complexity of reproduction.
- We havent considered a distribution curve.
- We havent considered any deviation. (On odds of 1/Trillion there would have to be a massive deviation.) (4)
- We havent considered other forms of life.
- We havent taken into consideration that its a lot easier to pick lottery balls than produce a live entity able to reproduce itself.
- Some say 20 billion years based on scientific estimation.
- Im using 100 average reproductive cycles per year.
Im taking into consideration that the Theory of Evolution is based on things moving from simple states to more complex. Some cells reproduce quickly. Mankind would be around 12 years at the best. (3) - This is overly fair. Evolution has been intently studied for over 100 years and there is no evidence of anything evolving in the last 100 years.
- Check the Mega Millions statistics for reference.
Note: If something is wrong with the math, please show me. The numbers are not presumed to be absolutely correct. You can play with the numbers. Throw in a few million here and there. No matter what numbers you consider, there arent enough reproductive life cycles in the projected age of the Universe to produce the simplest form of life.

What he can't stand is Jesus Christ. That's right; first, anti-semitism (Darn them Jews for being in the linage of Christ!) now it's anti-christianism (Dang them Christians for having a Savior!).
Is there ANY other 'religion' that has a SAVIOR??
NO! The rest are all 'work your way to Heaven' organizations. "Be 'good' enough and you'll get there."
HA! What a LIE!!!

Either he is, or YOU are. I'll take him.
I'll take what the writer of Hebrews said:
NIV Hebrews 7:14-28
14. For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.
15. And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears,
16. one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.
17. For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."
18. The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless
19. (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
20. And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath,
21. but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: `You are a priest forever.'"
22. Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
23. Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office;
24. but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
25. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
26. Such a high priest meets our need--one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.
27. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.
28. For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.
NIV Hebrews 10:16-22
16. "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."
17. Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."
18. And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.
19. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
20. by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,
21. and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
22. let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
NIV Hebrews 13:9-11
9. Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them.
10. We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.

Any form of "Christianity" that can evolve is not the Christianity of Jesus Christ.
Ya think?? ;^)
Galatians 1:6-10
6. I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel--
7. which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
9. As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
10. Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

The origin of life is infinitely more difficult for the Evolutionists to explain than just the origin of species. How does something dead turn into something alive???
You can believe god willed the first lifeforms into being if you want. But that doesn't change the fact that evolution happened. Like I said, the theory of evolution doesn't care how life got started. Really now, if you can't wrap your head around this simply concept then there is no point debating the theory of evolution with you.
Living things are replicators, they reproduce, they make copies of themselves. But sometimes the copies are not exact, and selective pressures can favor certain traits over others. This means that lifeforms will change over time. That is all evolution is. It's as simple as that.

I notice that you don't include the obvious:
What you bind on earth is bound in Heaven; what you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven (Matt. 16:19; 18:18).
These are the words of Christ to Peter at the moment Christ is first seen as the Son of God and Messiah; it trumps Paul.
To: Elsie
See Post 88.
Christ commissioned Peter and his successors as His Vicar. His successors and His Vicar COMPILED the Bible, and hold full authority to interpret it (although that authority is subject to possible corruption by the evil in authority). (And yes, there have been evil Popes, but that changes nothing; even Jesus appointed Judas a bishop!)

This all-knowing and theologically correct fellow here???
NIV Acts 5:29
Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men!
NIV Acts 10:13-15
13. Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14. "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
15. The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
NIV Acts 10:34-36
34. Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism
35. but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
NIV Acts 11:16-18
16. Then I remembered what the Lord had said: `John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
17. So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"
NIV Galatians 2:11-15
11. When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.
12. Before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group.
13. The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.
14. When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?
Someone was trumped all right!!!

I enjoyed this post! I'm bored with the responses. Either you believe you came from unidentified bacteria based organisms never to been seen.
or
You believe in an Intelligent Design... which is repeated through out history in the likeness of every thing man does. We are the master mind of the world, we recreate masterpieces, lies, stories, fictions, plays, musics, instruments, buildings. And we do it with major complexity.
The only thing in this world, I continue to hear people say is too hard to understand-the Bible.
That makes sense,(the Bible was inspired by Intelligence)and because the body is too hard for the average person to understand as well(which some believe was inspired by Intelligence).
rhetorical statementAny one here wanna break down for me into intricate explanation the formation, function and complexity of the human eye?
If you can understand and explain why, how, and what the eye is all about... to the point of 110% accuracy.... you could teach the Bible with a 110% accuracy. It should be that simple. I believe it is that simple.
Complex things come from a complex origin.... God is complex, creation is complex, the human mind is complex. Notice beautiful things originate from only one foundation.
The Human mind.... and I'm sorry... evolution is no where near as complex... as the human mind! :)
Knowing myself... none of this makes sense.. and I'm gonna get the Freeper Ream for it too! LOL

The Bible is both easy enough for a child to understand and complex enough for scholars to argue about forever.

Believing in evolution over "intelligent design" is proof that people really do work very hard to maintain a high degree of stupidity.
I read something the other week which related to this. It was comparing evolution to the evolution of computer technology from the 1980s until now. It's a fact that the "hardware" keeps getting better, but it evolved at the hands of intelligent people. It's not like computers make better versions of themselves.
People who live separated from God have to believe in garbage like evolution. Because if they don't, then they have to face the truth and that can be a very personal experience. So they go on believing that we descended from pond slime and stay willfully oblivious to God's purpose in their lives.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says (paraphrased) that God has given man a knowledge of eternity. People know this is a fact. They can lie, but it's hard to hide the fear of this knowledge for those who don't know God.

"One of the keys to Christianity's (rightly understood) exclusive status as the True Faith lies in the fact that it can adjust from age to age--if you want to live in an unevolved faith, you know where Islam is."
I respectfully submit to you that you don't know Jesus Christ and the God of the Bible. God doesn't change. I impore you to examine if you are trully in the faith. No malice is intended by that statement.
