OK, so maybe this is my contribution to the Friday Silliness thread posted a day early. :) Here's a link to Richard Little's web page. He's one of my all time favorite comedians and impressionists. He also was a great friend of Ronald Reagan's, and can act and sound exactly like Reagan, as well as Nixon, Carter, Bush Sr., and hundreds of other famous people.
Many of you FReepers who are younger than me may not remember him, as his style of comedy seems to have disappeared along with Dean Martin's Celebrity Roasts. But I can tell you that Rich Little was in the thick of the best comedy ever made in America.

Enyoy!
I'm 40 and I remember Rich. When I was a kid, I thought he was the funniest thing out there, but I've recently watched something that he was on, and it wasn't the least bit funny, nor did the impressions he did seem all that good as they did back in the day. I'll give this a look though, for old times sake.
Now there's something I'd have loved to seen; Ronald Reagan doing Capote!
I was right. After watching the clip, Rich Little doesn't hold up for me.
I guess what I like about him so much is that the impressions jumping from one celebrity to another brings so many other memories with them. Did you ever watch Dean Martin's Celebrity Roast?
He performed at the Liberal Leadership Convention in Canada -- the one that nominated John Turner to succeed Pierre Trudeau. Hmm...how long will it be before professional comedians start performing at US Political Conventions?
Dang, who was he impersonating? I don't remember.
Anyway, he did an impression of Trudeau -- the question was, "how do you start a small business in Canada?"
He answers, "Oh, that's easy. Just start a large business and then wait."
ROTFLMAO -- that is REALLY funny!
I have my favorite Canadian target friend in my sights for next week with this one! :)
Foster Brooks would steal the show
