Report: Russia woos Iran on weapons

By Agence France Presse (AFP)

Tuesday, September 27, 2005

MOSCOW: Russia is intensifying efforts to sell weapons to Iran while such sales remain legal amid mounting pressure on the Islamic Republic over its nuclear program, the daily Kommersant said. Moscow "has stepped up military-technological cooperation with Tehran," the business daily said, citing an unidentified source. It said top officials within Russia's military-industrial complex decided to concentrate on arms sales to Tehran for two reasons:

"First, as many weapons as possible must be sold to Iran before an international embargo against this country comes into force." Second, should the United States decide to go to war in Iran, Russia wants Iran to be well-armed to ensure that U.S. forces become at least as bogged down there as they already are in Iraq, the daily said.

"In either case, such a policy carries a high risk of creating a major international scandal, at the very least," it said.

The report came two days after the International Atomic Energy Agency formally found Iran in violation of its obligations under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), a decision the United States http://www.dailystar.com.lb

hailed as a "significant step forward" in its efforts to curb Iran's nuclear plans.

"The United States practically no longer even hides the fact that, in parallel with diplomacy at the IAEA, it is making preparations to resolve the conflict by force," Kommersant said.

The U.S. ambassador to the ex-Soviet republic of Azerbaijan, which borders Iran, said in a recent interview that Washington is encouraging - and helping fund - a buildup in the capacities of naval forces for Azerbaijan and another former Soviet republic, Kazakhstan.

Both border the oil-rich Caspian Sea, as does Iran. In its assertion that Washington is already making preparations for military action in the region, Kommersant cited the U.S.-funded construction of two radar stations in Azerbaijan. - AFP

The US is going to take out the Iranian nuke plant before it comes online. Russia is very aware of this. Indeed, everyone is certain of this except the Iranians. The Russians simply want their money, and then will withdraw before the bombing starts.

"The proposals remain in force; the whole package of proposals has been presented, and our position has not changed," he said.

Iran 'resumes' nuclear enrichment

Iran has restarted uranium enrichment work, UN diplomats have said. Monday, 13 February 2006, 22:14 GMT. --- They said it had begun feeding uranium gas into centrifuges - a first step in a process that can produce fuel for nuclear reactors or bomb material. Tehran had warned it would resume enrichment after the UN nuclear watchdog decided to report it to the UN Security Council nine days ago.

Things have changed...

I suppose that is what the Chinese think.

It is a good testing ground for Russian and Chinese technologies against ours.

Even if it endangers western civilization.

"The US is going to take out the Iranian nuke plant before it comes online. Russia is very aware of this."

Even though the Iran's top Islamonazi has sworn to wipe Israel off the map, KGB Putin continues making sure Iran has the means to slaughter Jews and threaten the Western economy. Gog in action - this time out in the open! Putin's mask is fully removed and so is every Putin promoter on FR.

When the barbaric Russian horde attacks tiny Israel they will be decimated from on High - count on it bub.

Firstly, you cannot wipe Israel off the map with a light-water reactor, with which you cannot make a nuclear weapon. The EU offered to give Iran a L-W reactor if they would give up the heavy-water reactor they are building at Arak. The US gave North Korea a light-water reactor. I'm sorry to confuse you with the facts. Go study the issue.

I agree the president of Iran is a nightmare, and needs to be taken out. I actually support the immediate bombing of Iran, and to do whatever necessary to eliminate the threat.
I realize you believe the Holy Spirit has given you insight, which no one else has received. After all, you have read Tim LaHayes' Left Behind series, and now thou art a scholar. Quite frankly, you're a very poor student of the Bible...very poor. Posting pictures is not serious Bible study.
Now if you want to learn something about Daniel 9, Ezekiel 38, and how to use a lexicon, then let me know. Gog and Magog have no connection to Russia contrary to the books you have read.

"Firstly, you cannot wipe Israel off the map with a light-water reactor, with which you cannot make a nuclear weapon."

Spin it maestro, spin it. The only ones about to get wiped out are those diaper-headed Jihad-O-Holics & any of Putin's Russian "advisor's" which happen to be "advising" the Iranian jihahist killers, when the surgical air raids commence.

This is what your hero is supporting!

Iranian students, fill in the papers of registration forms indicating their readiness for martyrdom, or to carry out suicide attacks, in Tehran, Iran, Saturday, Feb. 18th, 2006. A gathering of Iranians who claim they are dedicated to becoming suicide bombers warned the United States and Britain on Saturday of attacks on coalition military bases in Iraq if there were a strike against Tehran's nuclear facilities. "The US gave North Korea a light-water reactor."

You mean Clinton's crowd, most likely got additional kick backs on that deal as well.

That pompous rant coming from the same putz who repeatedly promotes Putin as a "real ally in the war against Islamic terrorism" while the deceptive sob supports the Hamas & Iranian Mohammedan death cultists. You take the frigging cake among the Putin Fan Club crowd.

You are same one who always states Russia will have nothing to do with attacking the Jewish state of Israel, and the same deceiver who, coupled with the rest tiny clique of Putin promoters attempting to trick unsuspecting schleps into buying KGB Putin is "our friend", while he arms every one of America's worst enemies.

You mean the picture clearly exemplifying Iranian death cultists signing up to murder Americans, That does indeed speak volumes about your pal Putin arming those terrorist animals to the gills.

You want facts? How about commenting on Moscow's advanced anti-aircraft "protecting" Putin's "nuclear" investments all over Iran. The only ones those weapons are for are American, Israeli and British fighter pilots, once the air raids begin to take out those rat bums . In terms of sources, how many Americans parrot whatever the Kremlin line of the day happens to be.

Firstly, I am very much against Iran, and want to see them bombed back into the stone age.
Secondly, there is a disconnect between the picture of Iranians signing up to kill Americans and Russians, but then that is over your head.
Thirdly, the Tor-M anti-aircraft system is not any good over 20,000 feet, and any targets can be taken out by J-dams from at least 20 miles away. We know that, and the Russians know that. However, the Iranins aren't that smart.
Fourthly, you cannot make a nuclear bomb with a light-water reactor. You have to enrich the fuel to at least 96%, which that reactor cannot do.
Finally, it appears your dis-information supports Iran. Are you an Iranian agent?

Your slander is not even worthy of a response, however Putin promoters, especially American's doing Moscow's PR must be exposed (other then self-exposing everyday) for working for the Kremlin's arch-deceptive Russian enemy. Here's some typical Communist propaganda from none other that old commie rag, PRAVDA!

Exposed!

The opening line is what KGB Putin really believes behind his slipping mask, since after all he supported Saddam as well, right comrade?

"It became obvious after Iraq ingloriously surrendered to coalition forces of the USA and Great Britain:"

"Anyway, the Russian defense industry managed to set a record in sales last year, without any interest that appeared as a result of the war in Iraq. In 2002 Russia exported arms in the sum of 4,8 billion dollars."

Arming all of America's enemies - still endeavouring to bury US using Islamic & Red proxies, just like in the days of the brazen Bolshevik controlled - USSR (still is).

If you once forfeit the confidence of your fellow citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem. You may fool all of the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all the time; but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

-- Abraham Lincoln
One day - this enemy will be just like Saddam
