Does everyone buy Charlie Hebdo's justification for creating this new Mohammed cartoon? We translated some of their comments in an earlier post on The Dumb Ox, but to sum up, they spout some predictable, free speech gibberish.

The actors in this whole cartoon crisis have an incredibly complex range of motives. The original children's book author, the original cartoon contest editors, the Danish imams who went wild, the British imams that spread the word, the Palestinian, Syrian, and Iranian government agents who have whipped up the furor.

Now the French atheist weekly "Charlie Hebdo" chimes in. Altruistic? I don't think so. See my full post.
