Man, it's getting hard to keep up with all the developments at DePaul.
From NPR last week:
DePaul University in Chicago -- the largest Catholic university in the United States -- is launching a "queer studies" program that looks at issues of homosexuality. DePaul will be the first Catholic university to offer a minor in the topic, and could face the wrath of the Vatican. Jason DeRose of Chicago Public Radio reports. Will DePaul offer a minor in "conservative studies?" Or even "libertarian studies?"
Queer theory???
Hello, Scrip! If I find that list (actually, IIRC, I've seen two threads about conservative colleges, or that had suchlists on them) I'll send you a link.
No point in carefully raising children to love truth and virtue, and send them to Binge and Porn State College, or Blaspheming Deviance University.
DePaul goes to the head of the list to lose the right to call itself a Catholic school.
With this move, this "school" has virtually dared the Vatican to do so.
I hope they won't use slides!!
Oh you mean Penn State
University of Texas (Berkley on the colorado)
Those appelations fit many an institution of "higher learning".

Imagine the outrage if a major was offered on "Being Straight."
RE: Patrick Henry ...
We certainly hope to send at least one of our boys there as well. If only they had an engineering major, then our oldest would be interested.
If you ever see a copy of that list of great colleges, ping me please.
The Mission of Patrick Henry College is to prepare Christian men and women who will lead our nation and shape our culture with timeless biblical values and fidelity to the spirit of the American founding. When Andrew Pudewa speaks he sometimes asks how many homeschoolers are raising leaders...unfortunately, not enough raise their hands. We homeschool and we're raising tomorrow's leaders.
I almost cry when I think of the responsibility that our kids will have on their shoulders. We ARE raising the leaders of tomorrow. One of our sons wants to work as an engineer. One wants to be in the United States Senate. I pray for their success.
Thank God there are like minds out here.
I'll ping you if/when I find such a list!
Conservative colleges? Hillsdale in Michigan, Rockford in Illinois, Kenyon in Ohio. I'm sure there are a few more, some Calvinist schools to be sure, but finding 100 will be tough.

Thanks for posting that link (and list).
"If being a Catholic university was a crime, it would be very difficult to find the evidence to convict DePaul."
