UPDATE: A reader writes:
I don't know if anyone is going to bother to look it up, but the article Senator Kennedy read yesterday sounded familiar. I seem to remember reading that when I was in college in the mid-80's as a joke article designed to make the ultra-liberals upset. I wonder if it had been printed on April 1st. An intriguing idea: did Ted Kennedy and his fellow leftists fall for an April Fool's joke? If so, it wouldn't be the first time.
So, who has back issues of CAP's magazine? We could have a scoop here!

Excert from article:
For the left, Lawrence v. Texas was in the same category: part of the leftward march of history, and something to be applauded, not criticized. Liberals see the Court's decisions as subject to a one-way ratchet: non-liberal precedents can be overturned, but liberal ones cannot.
Wow! I have been thinking and saying this to folks for at least 10 years. Overturn precedents, but only in a more liberal direction. That is OK.
But the other direction....THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END!

Dinesh Disouza is himself and minority! Don't the Democrat socialists get anything?
How could a minority head up a publication that has set itself against the admission of minorities!!!

The MSM continues to refer to CAP as an organization "that opposed the admission of women and minorities". They are regurgitating the dem talking points, even those have been discredited.
And while they seem to love to play and replay and verbal stumble or gaff by Dubya, they have ignored the cavalcade of terribly amusing foolishness generated by Teddy's stupid errors.

And they wonder why the blogs so easily pick off buffalo from the herd. They'll be extinct soon, and none the wiser.

Wow! I have been thinking and saying this [leftward ratchet]
to folks for at least 10 years. Then you owe royalties to George Will. He said the same thing about Ron Reagan and his first term in office.
