Sheesh, talk about being too late!

Had they done this 10-15 years ago, they might have had a shot at remaining a viable competitor in the PC market.

And supposedly, that iMac is now faster than a 3gHz P4-Prescott. How much faster, we don't know yet.

I just ordered mine. I'm so glad I waited.

"Apple claims its newest iMac, which features Intel’s new Core Duo processor, is twice as fast as its predecessor."

The Macintosh Apple Core? That's cute.

You gotta say, whether you hate em or like em, they have style.

Does this mean I can run OS/X.x on any old X86 platform?

The new iMac, which starts shipping today
So it's already here? I was assuming it'd be later in the year. Dunno why . . .

I have a friend that swears he is going to make what he calls a "Tri Boot system". Linux, win XP, and Mac. I want to play with it when he does.

Also standard is a wireless remote control that is held magnetically to the iMac when not in use

Remote control? Gee whiz, you can type on your puter while 50 feet away from the screen! Magnets? I wonder if you could apply that to objects to stick on a refrigerator door?
