Nonsense! My wife is diabetic, as was my dad (He passed away in 1997). They both enjoy pancakes and waffles, but with the lite or sugar-free syrups (just watch out for the "alcohol sugar" content on the label. It's just as bad as sugar) and enjoying them in moderation....
