OK, new thread for the next week.
First, a big shout out to the SETI and BOINC members who have added CPUs to the effort. Remember, its Team 36120, NOT Team 0.
Next, congrats to all for bumping our team up to 384 processors and 192 user names. We have a number of new users in the team, with nearly a dozen folders now from GetLoaded.com all popping onto the hit list this week.
Special mention to Klutz Dohanger, who has quietly volunteered 80 systems to fold. That is 20% of all of the Free Republic Folders systems actively engaged in research. He is on a pace to pop 100,000 points personally before the end of January.
Malsua, uriah, Ken in Texas and Andrewksu are solidly in the top 10. Malsua is continuing to add (fast) systems and is now the number two folder on the team. Andrewksu will be the next member to hit 10,000 points. Great job!
Free Republic Folding@Home Stats Page
On the global front, Free Republic Folders is now listed at # 624. We are poised to overtake (today):
Flowers of Happiness (awww, ain’t that sweet)
SpongeZone
Team Redneck Beatdown
Go Navy!
French-Krew
and the Rochester Institute of Technology
As we continue to grow there are a number of milestones coming around the bend:
Top 600 by Monday
Top 500 within eight days
Top 400 within three weeks
We have 430,000 points so far. We will reach:
500,000 points by Thursday
750,000 points by Jan 24
1,000,000 points in early February
Thanks again to all that are helping us advance science and promote the peaceful use of computers.

Sorry to let ya'll down, but, I just got back in and found the dog (must've been the dog) had pulled the extension cord loose in the garage. I lost 4 fold jobs.
I really need to find a good electrician.

If you use uninsulated wires, the dog will only bite them once.

"These are machines in a nasty environment that could thermal themselves to death. That said, if I have to tag the nitrous button, there's plenty of reserve."
I just saw your post. In my gaming rig, I made a NOS bottle for inside my case, (just for decoration and conversation). I'll see if I can dig up a pic of it. You would be shocked at how many people think I really have a Nitrous set up in my case. Funny stuff!

I used to run Nitrous on my race car. I taped a button to the shifter. Was always fun when I'd be running neck/neck with someone in a street race and tag the button :). The engine would jump about 1000 rpm immediately and they'd be left scratching their head watching my tail lights. hehe. I was inspired by Mad Max.
My gaming rig has the best non liquid cooler going. In fact, it's better than some of the liquid coolers out there.
I highly recommend the Zalman 7700CNPS

I use the same CPU cooler with blue LEDs and Arctic Silver thermal grease. A couple of years ago, I used the Zalman 80? Heatpipe VGA cooler on my vid card, but I gave the card and cooler to a friend when I upgraded. I did keep the "Zalman" fan cover and use it on my case. I'm busy for the next hour or so, but I'll get a pic posted.

Heh, that's pretty cool :).
My Geforce 7800GTX does just fine cooling with the EVGA stock "cage", glad I don't need to put that monstrous cooler on there.

Should anyone tell him that only 64 of those CPUs have turned in a work unit in the last 7 days? I guess not. We're all folding for a good cause, but their cheer-leading posts are just too funny.

That was then, this is what I'm using now. I made the NOS bottle from an old hair mousse bottle, with a couple of hose clamps for stands, a pencil thermometer for the gauge, a case nut for the regulator valve and vacuum hose. Total cost with paint and home made sticker was about $10. LOL!

I just realized my mistake. I went to the
Sortable Team Member Stats page, put in their team number and sorted by points in the last 7 days.
That should be 64 team members have posted a work unit in the last 7 days. Good thing I didn't tell them. ;O)

My computer is dragging its ass big time. It takes forever to turn a page or post a comment. What I'd like to know is...if I shut down my computer for about 30 minutes(it's been folding since last Sunday) will it be ok when I start it back up? Also, I have to figure a way to stop that stupid damn rolling around flashlight from showing up ever few seconds. It's been popping on my screen for the last few weeks and I'm tired of it. It keeps showing 'Autoplay'
Back to my question. If I shut it down...will it be ok?

Back to my question. If I shut it down...will it be ok? Yes. As a matter of course, I tend to reboot my machines every few days "just cuz" and, you'll note, it hasn't affected my status. It will go back to your latest checkpoint, which if using the gui and default options occured within the last 15 minutes. You will lose all work to your last checkpoint, again it occured not so long ago.
