Ok, I had finally gotten my first work unit downloaded, and it processed over the last couple of days. It finished, and saved the work, but I don't seem to be able to load the finished unit back to the server, and/or download the next core.
I did have a message when I got home from my virus software warning me that Folding@home was trying to access the internet, and I selected to Always Allow it, but that has not solved the problem. I've restarted several times, and even did a system restore to yesterday's checkpoint to see if it was the new windows update that screwed it up.
Here's some pertinent messages from the log:
[02:37:21] + Attempting to send results
[02:37:21] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[02:37:21] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[02:37:21] (171.65.103.100:8080)
[02:37:21] Could not transmit unit 01 to Collection server; keeping in queue.
[02:37:26] + Downloading new core: FahCore_79.exe
[02:37:26] - Error: HTTP GET returned error code 0
[02:37:26] + Error: Could not download core
[02:37:26] + Core download error (#3), waiting before retry...
Any ideas???
Just stopped BOINC and started this one. Pentium D with 2 GB RAM at your service.
Interesting. My dual-core EM64T and the other dual-core AMD64, are still running neck and neck at positions 29 and 30.
The EM64T has 2gb of ram and is a 2.8 cpu but it is slightly overclocked to 3.0. It is running two console versions.
The AMD64x2 is a 4400 (what is that? 2.2?) with 1gb of ram. It, too, is running a console on each core.
.
We just broke the top 500!
