He's more than earned the right to an opinion, you're right, bnelson. His opinions may not always be Bush's opinions, but they're always reasoned, and always said with a great deal of tact, credibility, and ~patriotism~.

Argue the issue. The man's right to speak his own mind is more than earned.

And being an American Citizen, so do I. He may have provided "gravitas" to the Bush 2000 campaign, but he still brought Desert Storm to a premature end... which we are now paying for.

Makes me wonder why this "opinon" wasn't expressed four years ago? Surely we aren't to believe the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was kept in the dark?
