The Arctic Silver is good stuff. The mere addition of the Silver dropped my cpu temp from low 40s C to low-mid 30s C

Sure is great stuff. Up thread, I was trying to make folks be aware that running this client at 100% can cause thermal issues. If you have a temp monitor and most new computers do, spot check it, make sure everything is in line. I wouldn't suggest sustained temps of 60C or greater. Most AMD chips burn up at 65-70 and most intel chips can take 70-85C. Still though, over 60, it's getting really hot and it's probably time to do something about it.

I meant to ask - is the only place you can check your temp at start-up... in the BIOS?
