Before the 2004 election, one of my brothers forwarded a piece of liberal propaganda that was forwarded to him by one of the people on his distribution list. I promptly did a "reply to all" and tore the argument apart, piece by piece, with documentation.
Of course, one of the moonbats on his list had to respond with a biting rebuttal: "I see that all of the money you make has blinded you to the truth!"
I just sat there shaking my head in disbelief. This loser does not know me at all. He/she/it had no way of knowing that my husband and I are far from rich -- not poor, but certainly not rich, either -- and that we were still recovering from one of the worst financial crises in either of our lives when I wrote that e-mail.

The lie they've been floating out there for at least two elections (especially as they are starting to lose their post-civil rights grip on black voters) is that bigoted social conservatives (those against homosexuality and abortion) vote "wrong" even though they are "poor".
