Necessary provocation is an interesting idea. We sure have had lots of ethnic jokes in our melting pot, in the past. Maybe PC suppression eliminates important clues to fitting in and getting ahead.

Excellent thought. Excellent. Sorta like Norman Lear's All in the Family gave permission to ridicule White Bread. So now, the Left's PC won't allow ridicule of anything but average, conservative Americans- whether Colored or Caucasion or whatever.
Assimilation is our friend.
