After months of hearing about Kerry's "plan" I'm leary of anyone who doesn't put out on the first post, or at least give a snyopsis of the plan. Teaser threads don't impress me.

It took more than two thousand years for the collective thinking of man to evolve far enough for a few far-sighted individuals to draft the Constitution. It took another 150 years before the socialists were able to figure out how to subvert it. The socialists have now had almost a century of progressive subversion of the Constitution.

Your skepticism is understandable. Ever since Congress passed the Federal Reserve Act and the subsequent socialistic measures it made possible, conservatives have been unsuccessfully trying to figure out how to return to our Constitutional roots. And in spite of conservative giants like Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich, the goal still eludes us. Everything Democrats believe is based on wishful thinking. It should not be surprising that Democrats can win with meaningless fifteen second soundbytes like, "It's the economy, stupid."

It is going to take more than a fifteen second soundbyte to restore the Constitution and undo a century of mistakes. We invite you to follow our series, even if you remain skeptical. When we have finished reporting; you can decide.

Thanks for the ping. I took a look at this thread yesterday, and declined to participate due to the anonymity of the author, who seems to want to lead a movement but not identify him/herself.

Furthermore, parcelling out details of this plan on the installment contract doesn't interest me, either.

I appreciate your lofty goals, although I don't necessarily agree or disagree with them all.

However, as an old-timer here, I sometimes look with a jaundiced eye on posts by someone just signed up, with obvious prior experience here but now with a virgin handle. Most of all, I don't like completely blank profile pages, although I recognize it's each to his own on this. Plus, you have no subsequent comments interspersed with freeper comments on this thread. I hope your posts won't be a series of hits and runs.

For all I know, you may be some professional political operative signing in here for some professional political reasons.

I'll keep an open mind, and I hope we hear from you comments-wise soon.

No one is going to ask you to vote for a Democrat. We are going to ask you to think. One of the things you are going to be asked to think about is why do Republican politicians support unconstitutional socialistic programs? And we are going to ask you to think about what is the net difference between a Democrat and a politician that campaigns as a Republican, but votes as a Democrat.

Most conservatives are concerned about the fact that we have had a Republican controlled Congress for ten years and for half that time we have also had a Republican President. During that time, government has grown faster and socialism has expanded faster than at anytime since Lyndon Johnson was President. Surely, that is food for thought and should raise questions about what should we be doing that can change this.

I will vote for a more fiscally responsible and a more conservative Republican but I will never vote for a democrat hoping to achieve those ends, if that is what you were saying.
