Bush never claimed to be Reagan in the first place. How can he move away from a title he never applied to himself?

Bartlett faults Bush for moving away from free trade, adopting Keynesian economic theories, increasing government regulation and doing an extremely poor job of developing and selling conservative initiatives, such as Social Security reform LOL! CAFTA is anti-free trade and what did Reagan do, he raised social security taxes and didn't propose any reform. BTW Reagan also granted real amnesty to illegals.
With "friends" like Bartlett, who needs enemies?

I wish I could say Bartlett was wrong. But I expect more of this as conservatives start to take a more realistic look at how they've been had.

Hope you're wearing asbestos underwear. The bushbots are already in full Captain Queeg mode over all the conservatives "jumping the shark" on the Miers nomination.

Bartlett's book will be popular among the wet-diaper crowd around here.
Bartlett weighs in around 300 pounds. I suspect he'll never be invited to mountain bike with Bush, any time soon, either.

I don't know all the contents of this book, but with both a Republican House and Senate, I don't get why Bush had to sign everything that came across his desk without ever a veto. That I never got about Bush.

Bush is the most cowardly President ever. He has refused to veto a single bill because he is a lily-livered weakling who is afraid to fight. Every spending bill and social program that has landed on his desk has been signed into law. As a result, our deficit is gigantic, although Republican Kool-Aid-drinkers are yapping that it's "only" a few hundred billion.

The converse to the admonition "beware when all men speak well of you" definitely applies to W. The one who attracts all the criticism is the one getting things done.
