I really wonder about folk who want to hear more about whatever this is. Voyeurism into the perverse, all the while claiming to be really offended.

I've long thought that many if not most bluenoses were really getting off on all the stuff they rail against. They sure love to talk about it.

Gives them a good excuse to wallow in what they secretly want, while being able to tell themselves and all their friends how "decent and good" they really are.

Well, I know for a fact that when (some) women get together, especially after a few margaritas, they let loose way more than guys do. Some of the things we talk about would make most men blush.

Moral Absolutes Ping.

Sigh. This is one of those articles I REALLY don't want to ping out. Read after you're finished with one meal and not yet ready for the next. One comment on the thread opines that anyone who reads about this topic must have an unhealthy fixation with it.

That's called "hoping bad things will go away if I don't know about them". Never works, never has, never will.

Porn is a very, very bad thing. It used to not be covered by the first amendment, then Larry Flynt and the ACLU discovered that Yes! Freedom of speech meant every kind of raunchy, violent, nasty pornography was JUST what the founders of this country had in mind when the Bill of Rights was written!

Rampant sexual immorality will indeed destroy this country along with a lot of other stuff. Gross sexual immorality renders a human being less than an animal, engenders a hard heartedness and selfishness that hardly any other activity does, necessitates abortion and the view that pregnancy and resulting children are burdens, destroys family life, and creates a subclass of fatherless children and husbandless mothers and predator males. The fact that so many - even here on FR - scorn these truths is sad testimony to the breakdown of basic human morals.

Morals that have been given to mankind by God in every scripture in the world. For our own good. And the funny thing is that if we follow the rules (get married if you want sex and don't kill your children) we'll be much, much happier than if we break them. These rules aren't there to surpress our happiness, but to insure it.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

Rin...
every time I catch your posts somewhere I think
"Thats right..
tell it like it is"
My hubby and I talked about this years and years ago when we were first married
I was shy at the time (don't laugh) about asking but he looked at me and said 'Sweetie..I am not now nor will I ever be interested in that area..."
Thank goodness I thought ... it sickens me to think women do this out there ..hating it...but still do it for their men.

And Naj..so true sister...those women on the movies are stopping to lube it to keep from crying out....thats what men DON"T SEE!!

OK folks, I must hang out with crazy people ;). And I won't go into detail, but all I can say is...be grateful you aren't in the dating scene anymore. There are men who, erm, want to drive Harleys when they are still falling off the tricycle. IOW, the are rotten in bed, but think if they do THIS, they'll be great! And I lay it squarely on the doorstep of porn.

What rintense said is true....whether it be in person, on the phone or on the net, when women let loose, it is AMAZING what comes out....and that is a major complaint I've heard.

Lastly, guys...
You wanna be the greatest lover on the planet?
Walk away from the TV and the monitor and pick up what the woman in your life is reading. Or go hang out on some of the chat forums that discuss these books. Call it what you may; bodice ripper, Housewife porn, romance novel...whatever. THAT is what her real fantasys are.

To this day, I'm amazed that men watch what they do, and ignore the obvious.

So this explains the steep decline in teenage pregnancy rates?

Mebby...

I don't know. I DO know that it's pretty common place in certain cultural sub-sets. And the chicks hate it, but hey....you can't get pregnant :(

I also think it comes from fathers who raise boys
If a father teaches his son to treat women like the gift that they are from God
and to treasure them..
this would not be a problem!!
Boys learn how to act towards and treat women from seeing how their fathers
treat and love their mothers. I have 2 boys..one is already a teenager.
He watches every move his father makes
he is blessed that his father is an AMAZING man...
he then will know how its done when he finds his own wife.

Aren't we making a big mistake is automatically accepting the statistics cited in the article as a given..Rememebr the Kinsey survey on homosexuality, which was accepted as a given for years...cited often by gay advocacy groups..and is now totally debunked and estimated to be as much as ten times overstated?

I think exactly on the same page.

If the sex act is performed (and I use the term sex act loosely here since anal sex in my mind is a revolting, no doubt painful practice that is veering off into sado masochism) between two people who have not vowed faithful lifelong marriage, it is actually cruelty. Putting one's self gratification first always back fires (no pun intended).

And I say this as a person with a lot of background in vice. It hardened my heart, broke my heart, and did damage to others. What to speak of a disease here and there. Sex without marriage leads to all manner of evil. When sex without marriage is promoted as harmless or even a good idea, terrible disservice is done to the young and malleable.

Good point.

Kinsey was a vile fraud; no doubt about it. Considering the source of this article, it is likely the writer wants to promote that which he is warning about. Possibly, anyway. Liberals like it when teenagers are running rampant - they'll need more abortions.

pick up what the woman in your life is reading

The complete works of Thomas Sowell? "Sorry, dear, I'm just not interested unless you're a brilliant, 72-year-old black economist ... talk to me about price theory, and try to be a little more feeble, would you?"

Just kidding, excellent insights.

I don't know about the stats personally.

Most of what I'm basing my statements on are either people I work with, people I know from different interest groups and well, my patients >:>

Oh yeah, and a bit of personal experience.

When it comes to certain topics, FR isn't quite anonymous enough. Otherwise we would get some stories.
